LWC is the longest-lived single block protection plugin that protects both the block itself and contents of Chests, Furnaces, and Dispensers. It can also protect any other blocks, and by default will also protect Doors (Wooden + Iron), Signs and Trap Doors.
Blocks can be protected with three basic protection types:
Private
By default, only you can access this protection. You can also modify it (or specify when creating) to add other players or groups to the protection, so they can access it. Say you wanted Notch and Hidendra to both access the protection. When creating the protection, you could do /cprivate Notch Hidendra or if it already exists /cmodify Notch Hidendra. If you wanted to remove Hidendra from the private protection, you can use /cremove -Notch
Password
A password is set on the protection and anyone that knows the password can open it. You yourself also need this password each time you log in.
Public
Mainly targeted at community chests, a Public chest means just that: anyone can access it, but no one can protect it which makes it advantageous because it cannot be made private by someone else.
Commands
/lwc- The LWC command for everything, however aliases are available to make some commands shorter. Type /lwc in-game for more detailed help./cprivate- The alias of /lwc create private (or /lwc -c private), it creates a private protection./cpassword <password>- The alias of /lwc create password <password>, it creates a passworded protection./cpublic- The alias of /lwc create public, it creates a public protection/cremove- Allows you to remove a protection you own (or if you're an LWC admin, any protection) - you must click on the protection after using/cremovein order to remove it./cunlock <password>- Allows you to attempt to gain access to a passworded protection after LWC tells you you attempted to open a password protection.... more! There are aliases for all major used commands and every alias is not listed here.
Permissions
Basic permissions:
lwc.protect- Allows the player to create and manage their own protections. It also allows them to use enabled modes and flags.lwc.mod- Allows the player to open any chest, but not remove them.lwc.admin- Gives the player absolute power to LWC - this node should be considered dangerous if used incorrectly as this node essentially gives you the right to destroy every protection (and even the block & inventory contents associated with it) in one command!lwc.deny- Prevents players with this node from interacting with anything LWC can protect. For example, from opening or destroying protected and unprotected chests, furnaces, etc if protectable.

The command as listed is actually correct "/cemove" on its own would remove the protection completely. "/cremove -[player]" removes every one except the specified player from the door. "/cmodify -[player]" removes just the specified player.

Posted Feb 17, 2014Where it says how to remove Hidendra it actually gives the command to remove Notch. Is this a typo or a joke?

Posted Feb 17, 2014Great plugin! It seems the auto update is broken. On top of that, you have a typo in your description: By default, only you can access this protection. You can also modify it (or specify when creating) to add other players or groups to the protection, so they can access it. Say you wanted Notch and Hidendra to both access the protection. When creating the protection, you could do /cprivate Notch Hidendra or if it already exists /cmodify Notch Hidendra. If you wanted to remove Hidendra from the private protection, you can use /cremove -Notch As you can see, the cremove notch doesn't make sense when you wanted to remove Hidendra.

Posted Feb 16, 2014Hello Hidendra,
Thanks for creating this amazing plugin! I am here to report a couple of bugs that impact a server I work for very much. The server uses the current lwc ( http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/lwc/files/37-lwc-4-4-0/ ) The problem is everytime someone places down a chest or unlocks a protection: there is a massive lag spike. It makes it hard to keep players flowing when they leave over lag spikes. Please reply back soon I am anticipated on your solution.
Thanks, 3ShotGod

Posted Feb 16, 2014Hello Hidendra,
The LWC plugin is amazing and I really enjoyed using it on my server. As of now I have removed the plugin until it gets fixed and updated. I've been using LWC since 2012 and will always be a fan, any ideas when you plan to fix the errors and update the plugin. It would be nice if LWC was a lightweight plugin. Since LWC was removed from my server for now, I have about 1024+ more MB of RAM. Well keep up the good work, hope to see and update in the near future...cheers!

Posted Feb 16, 2014it seems like there's no way for me to /cprivate anything that's run by either SignShop or BattleArena ... but i don't wanna turn on the option for auto private in the config, cause the Factions plugin has issues for my Raiding/PVP/Griefing world .....
- when i put up a sign, after /lwc info, says "Sign not registered" - if i try the /cprivate, it destroys the sign with the left click, and uses the sign normally on right click - if i do /cmodify g:rankname, says "Sign not registered"
If all this made sense ....
The questions is : What's the problem ?? why can't i register with /cprivate SignShop and BattleArena signs ?
I use version 4.4.0 of LWC and, and both latest versions of BattleArena and SignShop, and Latest bukkit version too

I dont think its an issue because I have another plugin that uses mysql and its way more heavy (AntiGrief plugin) (logs lots of data) that LWC adds/checks/remove protects... why it lags? It hangs the main thread

Posted Feb 14, 2014To all with lag issues on placing chests
This is not an LWC problem, I had the same problem when I moved servers...
My original server was on an SSD, I swapped to a 2TB normal HDD as I need more space, and the lag started, I ran every diag possible and the conclusion was it was the HDD, I have 1000's of protections and had to wait 1-2 secs for chest to place/break, people placing chests on the server would cause other players to lag for a bit as well...
If your server is running on a normal HDD and you have lots of players and a big database (mine is a flat file) swap to an SSD and the problem should be gone :)
Hope this helps..

so you think that LWC can be the lag issue (performance)? Cause I don't know if you have that problem, while placing/breaking protectable containers... random lag appears (can take a second or less) but this is annoying... players tells my server is laggy x.x

Posted Feb 10, 2014I've been using lwc for a while and it's been great.. except that it's not so lightweight and very very resource dependent.
https://chart.googleapis.com/chart?cht=p3&chd=t:1,1,97,2&chs=750x300&chl=WorldBorder%20(1%25)%7COpenInv%20(1%25)%7CLWC%20(97%25)%7CCoreProtect%20(2%25)
As you can see, Coreprotect is suppost to be quite a big plugin and that is only 2% compared to LWC which all I wanted is to protect chests from other players as you never know when you get a griefer on your server.
by the way if you do /lwc admin version you get some errors if you want to fix that ^^
