LWC is the longest-lived single block protection plugin that protects both the block itself and contents of Chests, Furnaces, and Dispensers. It can also protect any other blocks, and by default will also protect Doors (Wooden + Iron), Signs and Trap Doors.
Blocks can be protected with three basic protection types:
Private
By default, only you can access this protection. You can also modify it (or specify when creating) to add other players or groups to the protection, so they can access it. Say you wanted Notch and Hidendra to both access the protection. When creating the protection, you could do /cprivate Notch Hidendra or if it already exists /cmodify Notch Hidendra. If you wanted to remove Hidendra from the private protection, you can use /cremove -Notch
Password
A password is set on the protection and anyone that knows the password can open it. You yourself also need this password each time you log in.
Public
Mainly targeted at community chests, a Public chest means just that: anyone can access it, but no one can protect it which makes it advantageous because it cannot be made private by someone else.
Commands
/lwc- The LWC command for everything, however aliases are available to make some commands shorter. Type /lwc in-game for more detailed help./cprivate- The alias of /lwc create private (or /lwc -c private), it creates a private protection./cpassword <password>- The alias of /lwc create password <password>, it creates a passworded protection./cpublic- The alias of /lwc create public, it creates a public protection/cremove- Allows you to remove a protection you own (or if you're an LWC admin, any protection) - you must click on the protection after using/cremovein order to remove it./cunlock <password>- Allows you to attempt to gain access to a passworded protection after LWC tells you you attempted to open a password protection.... more!There are aliases for all major used commands and every alias is not listed here.
Permissions
Basic permissions:
lwc.protect- Allows the player to create and manage their own protections. It also allows them to use enabled modes and flags.lwc.mod- Allows the player to open any chest, but not remove them.lwc.admin- Gives the player absolute power to LWC - this node should be considered dangerous if used incorrectly as this node essentially gives you the right to destroy every protection (and even the block & inventory contents associated with it) in one command!lwc.deny- Prevents players with this node from interacting with anything LWC can protect. For example, from opening or destroying protected and unprotected chests, furnaces, etc if protectable.

Posted Aug 16, 2013Apparently some people use LWC on a server 1.6.2 and face no concern ... Before I thought it was a widespread problem. There must be a conflict of plugins, but what plugin is not compatible with LWC? That is the question. It would be nice if those who have this problem lag gives us a list of other plugins they use :)

You're wrong, no dev owes you anything. I am waiting to see if anything is going to happen before abandoning this plugin. I have no growing up to do. I'm waiting to see how this turns out. You never read a single word of what I posted. If there are lag issues, Everyone has a right to know. You need to learn how to read.

Posted Aug 15, 2013I'm running craftbukkit 2851 dev build and LWC 4.4.0 (b881). Hoppers don't release items unless both the hopper and the receptacle are unprotected. Under protections in the core file I've set denyHoppers: false
Anyone else getting this?
EDIT: I've fixed the problem tho I've not a clue how I did it. O.o
@Gixbit
I disagree. This is exactly the place where people should have common courtesy, and tho I don't feel deeply indebted, I do greatly appreciate the work Hidendra is doing. This is a great plugin. You have to expect hiccups when a series of interdependent pieces of software are constantly updated, anything else would be delusional. You have to grow up a little I guess and learn to roll with the punches instead of acting up to get attention.

This isn't an official project, or a place where people should have common courtesy. You learn that very quickly. Nobody is indebted to the people who download their plugin. I also work solo on my own stuff. This is really annoying that hidendra hasn't said anything but, I expect I will have to make my entire server suffer for weeks and maybe months before this straightens itself out. And by that time there wont be much server left. There was 20+ before this update. now we're down to 5-12. Sometimes nobody at all. I got a fucking thing or two to say about this to be honest. But, whats the point. I'll just get on this page and make sure everyone knows they use this at their own risk cause of how laggy it has become to use.

Posted Aug 13, 2013I understand that the plugin developers are not required to inform us, the more they do this on their free time. I myself participated in volunteer projects. However, if people expect my work and I can not finish it, I inform them so they do not waste their time waiting. It costs me nothing to write three lines to inform the public. However, I hope Hidendra has not encountered any problems...
In any case, version 1.6.2 seems to destabilize more than a developer ... it's a shame :(

Did you read anything I posted?
@GPlayer93
It does reduce it a nice bit. But, the lag is still bad.
@Chevels
I doubt sucking up to the plugin dev is going to help. It changes nothing really. Of course it's widespread. If hidendra abandoned this plugin, Do you think this would be 1.6.2? Plugin dev has no responsibility to keep anyone informed. Support for plugins is as is. Use at your own risk. In this case, 1.6.2 ruined my server. LWC is just contributing to that.

Posted Aug 13, 2013Hello,
this lag problem is it widespread? All users who have switched to version 1.6.2 have they this concern? I ask because this is the only plugin on my server that keeps me moving in 1.6.2 ... and Hidendra seems to have abandoned its plugin (or is he on vacation?). I see no comment Hidendra about it, yet it connects regularly as we look at his profile ("Last login 1 day ago").
Should we look for another plugin now?? It would be nice to keep us informed :)
In any case, thank you for this great plugin and your good job ! I hope you do not abandon it...
Regards

Bro, we wouldn't be here saying it if it weren't true. The lag is really really bad. It's so bad that every other plugin is not even 80% of the server tickusage COMBINED. It's every plugin combined only uses 20% of the server's mainthread. When LWC gets busy it can cause a huge spike. It might actually be related to bukkit itself. It seems like the main thread gets lagged out when like 4 other plugins are trying to call events with the main thread. Like the inventoryinteractevent, or the playerquitevent. But, it's really hard to tell exactly what is going on. But lwc, does a lot of database querying on the inventoryevent. Everytime it occurs, LWC calls the database. So if you're using mySql. its gonna be bad. It also seems that when other plugins call the same event at the same time and one takes longer to finish than the other, it causes the main thread to stop entirely, or spike, Whatever is happening in that case. Needless to say, I don't know how to even go about fixing that, I also can only fix my own plugin. LWC needs to fix theirs. Or address the issue so that we know what we can do to fix it.

Set autoregister to false then any blocks that have their own autoregister option, either remove the autoregister line or set it to false instead of private.
