LWC is the longest-lived single block protection plugin that protects both the block itself and contents of Chests, Furnaces, and Dispensers. It can also protect any other blocks, and by default will also protect Doors (Wooden + Iron), Signs and Trap Doors.
Blocks can be protected with three basic protection types:
Private
By default, only you can access this protection. You can also modify it (or specify when creating) to add other players or groups to the protection, so they can access it. Say you wanted Notch and Hidendra to both access the protection. When creating the protection, you could do /cprivate Notch Hidendra or if it already exists /cmodify Notch Hidendra. If you wanted to remove Hidendra from the private protection, you can use /cremove -Notch
Password
A password is set on the protection and anyone that knows the password can open it. You yourself also need this password each time you log in.
Public
Mainly targeted at community chests, a Public chest means just that: anyone can access it, but no one can protect it which makes it advantageous because it cannot be made private by someone else.
Commands
/lwc- The LWC command for everything, however aliases are available to make some commands shorter. Type /lwc in-game for more detailed help./cprivate- The alias of /lwc create private (or /lwc -c private), it creates a private protection./cpassword <password>- The alias of /lwc create password <password>, it creates a passworded protection./cpublic- The alias of /lwc create public, it creates a public protection/cremove- Allows you to remove a protection you own (or if you're an LWC admin, any protection) - you must click on the protection after using/cremovein order to remove it./cunlock <password>- Allows you to attempt to gain access to a passworded protection after LWC tells you you attempted to open a password protection.... more! There are aliases for all major used commands and every alias is not listed here.
Permissions
Basic permissions:
lwc.protect- Allows the player to create and manage their own protections. It also allows them to use enabled modes and flags.lwc.mod- Allows the player to open any chest, but not remove them.lwc.admin- Gives the player absolute power to LWC - this node should be considered dangerous if used incorrectly as this node essentially gives you the right to destroy every protection (and even the block & inventory contents associated with it) in one command!lwc.deny- Prevents players with this node from interacting with anything LWC can protect. For example, from opening or destroying protected and unprotected chests, furnaces, etc if protectable.

Posted May 19, 2013So i've gone ahead and downgraded to beta 2 because im loosing players over this lag. They cant use doors but its better than 6 fps all the time. I REALLY hope the developer can fix this issue or I might need to change locking plugins.

Posted May 17, 2013Hello, I just wanted to report that by placing a hopper under any locked chest a player can siphon out all the items from it
Please fix this issue i love the LWC plugin, and i don't want to switch.
Thanks.

Posted May 16, 2013@Titra I've just found the same issue via VisualVM. Every time an item moves from one place to another LWC has to check if it's allowed which means loads of database queries on a server if lots of hoppers are use. Before hoppers LWC would only need to access the database when a player interacted with a block which is much less often :).
This doesn't feel like an easy problem to solve, LWC could have a cache which it goes to 1st before sending a query to the database but I've not looked at the backend to see how easy/hard that would be.

well, if you don't mind if people are able to open your chest, you can just make it a public protection. But if you want your chest so that only you can open it, then you'll just have to deal with the hopper problem, as it's actually there to prevent other players from exploiting hoppers to steal things from protected chests.Apparently, this has been fixed in the latest beta. Check your config file to make sure they aren't completely disabled.-

if you know what you're doing, you can compile LWC from the source on the github- although the most recent changes are older than the most recent update on bukkit.

Posted May 15, 2013Hey there,
I'm actually having the problem that protected chests won't give their items to a hopper. If I remove the protection, the items start moving into the hopper.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Posted May 14, 2013If you have theTowny borders option on and the WorldGuard one on at the same time, the Towny one overrides the WorldGuard one only allowing you to create LWC protections inside of Towny regions instead of allowing you to have them in Towny and WorldGuard regions.
townyBorders: true & worldguard: enabled: true

Posted May 14, 2013Hmm so there are 2 problems with LWC and WorldGuard.
1. If autoregister is enabled then player can go to WG regions and put any autoregister item on them. Item wont stay but protection - yes. So player can put a lot of protections on someone's region and then the owner can't do nothing with that protected blocks.
2. Can you implement something that will grant lock permissions only at regions which you are owner?

Posted May 14, 2013Hey there, having a bit of a lag issue related to hoppers. It seems the most recent build (LWC 4.3.2 Beta 3) is the cause. I tried downgrading to Beta 2 which fixed the lag but that made it so that no users could open any doors. Any idea why this is happening/how to fix? Thanks!

Posted May 11, 2013Hi, I know there's a donation mode that blocks withdrawals from a chest, but how about the other way around? I want to make a chest that people can take things out of but not be able to put anything in it.
