Description
What is Lottery+? Lottery+ is a simple and powerful lottery plugin that makes lotteries easy to make and fun to play! Why should you choose my plugin verses others? Other plugins tend to limit you on options and your lotteries, whereas mine possesses limitless options! For instance these lotteries can have extensive options such as Towny support, Item economies, Item rewards, ect... To get started, follow my step-by-step tutorial. Hope you enjoy it!

- One of your users helped out with building something? You can rewards them tickets with '/lottery reward'
- One of your winners wasn't online during the drawing? No problem! Lottery+ will simply store their winnings in 'claims.yml' so that when he/she jumps on later they can simply use '/lottery claim'
- Your server not in fluent English? Or maybe you'd like the wording better on one of the messages? No biggie! Lottery+ pulls of it's messages from 'lang.properties'
- Want to do more than just have a pot on your lottery? You can also add all sorts of item rewards and you can even add a 'command reward' that dispatches through the console so that covers a lot of bases.
- Worried about players forgetting about lotteries? No problem. You can set in the config to remind players about them.
- Lottery+ also will check updates from time to time (set in config)
- Server restarting? No worries! Lottery+ will save and load your lotteries

How do I start creating lotteries?
You can start creating them by following my thorough step-by-step tutorial. There are also some videos you can watch.
Are lotteries saved after my server reloads or stops?
Yes. Lottery+ is constantly saving it's lotteries to ensure they are up to date.
Do I need to install any plugins for Lottery+?
No, you do not need any plugins. It is recommended that you have Vault if you want to use your server's economy. Lottery+ also supports Towny and Votifier.
Where can I donate?

Is there a way to edit the messages?
Yes. If look for a file called 'lang.properties', you can edit the messages in their.
Troubleshooting
Before reporting an error, please consider doing a complete reinstallation. If you have done this, please consider writing a ticket. Be sure to add your config.yml and lotteries.yml when writing your ticket (using pastebin is fine as well). Remember, the more bugs I squash, the better the plugin becomes!

Posted Jul 4, 2012This is a great plugin and my users love it! But I keep losing the ticket purchases (and lottery state) when I reload the config because the changes are only written to disk when the plugin is unloaded. Looking at the code, it would be really nice if it called "saveLotteries()" every time the lottery state changes (buy, reward, addtopot, draw, etc). This way the files on disk are always up to date and I am safe to make changes.
EDIT: Also, if saving each change seems excessive, you could provide a save command or have a timer based save.
Any thoughts? :)

Posted Jul 1, 2012HELP! This lottery is very buggy but has all the features i want. Permissions do NOT work at all, even if i enable permissions, disable permissions, default to op or not. Everyone has all permissions to ALL lottery commands even /lottery draw , which i wont be able to use for this server if it isn't fixed as they can just force draw anytime they want.
I am running 1.2.5 R4, and tried lottery 6.5/7.0
Also i am using the latest Vault.

Happened to me. Solved this by adding a lottery in lottery.yml Reload the server and it works.

Posted Jun 29, 2012Hey, there is a bug with the sign message. in config there will the text from "buy-message" also use vor "sign-message".
so when i right click the lottery shield i get the buy-message from config, also when i have bought a ticket.

I'm still running this plugin and it works. Although slightly bugged with random console errors im waiting on a new release.
I'm running 5 lotteries that draw many times every 3 days with 50-100 new visits every week purchasing tickets
Using 1.2.5 r4.0 with most plugins up to date

Posted Jun 19, 2012Doesn't work. No errors when the plugin starts but none of the commands do anything.
I type /help lottery and it says /lottery - basic lottery command. I type that. Nothing.
Any ideas?
EDIT: Just loaded my server. "lotteries, an error has occurred. shutting down.."

Posted Jun 6, 2012Hi, I really like your plugin, I happen to be using it on my server. I am not sure if this function that I am about to ask; is already implemented. However, is it possible to toggle for a certain lottery, so that the money from people buying tickets for the auction doesn't go into the winning poll. If this is already included within the plugin would you please explain how to use this function if not; I think this would be a great function. Especially in case when a lottery is for an certain weapon e.g. a sword and the ticket costs a lot, I would rather people not receiving the money but only the item.

i really like this Plugin.
Please implement following features:
1. Tax taken from Players given to an iConomy Account
2. Pot taken from an iConomy Account
3. Lottery draw at e.g. 9 pm
4. Participants saved on Server stop
This would make it even more realistic, because every tax of a transaction goes to an iConomy Account on my Server.
I got this Error after the first draw was executed by the console:
[WARNING] [LotteryPlus v0.6.5b] - exception caught in addWinner()
No one won and the lottery reset.

Is it possible to buy tickets with ressources?
I would like to change many messages most are not part of the config.yml is it possible for me to do that? Am i doing things wrong? ;)
