Loot
Requirements:
- KBPL
- If the version in the title is higher than the one on the 'recent files' list, then you will have to wait until bukkit approves the latest version since KBPL could be updated and have code that does not work with previous versions of the plugin.
What it does:
The title pretty much says it all! But to be a bit more detailed, Loot makes it easy to create chests with randomly generated loot. The best part? No commands. Oh did I mention that it adds random enchantments to armor and weapons and can spawn random potions? Yeah, that too. Its the perfect loot generator for custom dungeons and worlds with randomly generated schematics.
Features:
- Automatic Chest Regeneration Refills chests automatically using a list of items that you configure.
- Enchantments You can configure whether loot chests will spawn items with random enchantments, or you can specify the enchantments yourself.
- Potion Effects Same as the enchantments, but with potions.
- Item naming Specify a name for the items spawned in a chest! You can also configure the plugin to let it add a random preffix/suffix to enchanted items, dependent of the enchantments applied.
- Lore Add lore to any item for that true rpg feel!
- Books You can set the title, author and text of books generated!
- Colors You can set the colors of the names/lore/whatever of each item.
- Randomness A lot of the properties of any item can be randomized, including the enchantments applied, name, amount, data value, chance for it to spawn at all, etc.
- Redstone Force a chest to reset by powering the sign!

- loot.sign.create - Lets you create Loot signs.
- loot.sign.break - Lets you break Loot signs.
- loot.command.name - Ability to use the command /loot name
- loot.command.reload - Ability to use the command /loot reload
- loot.list.x - Permission to open loot chests of x list

If this plugin is missing that certain special feature, bribe me and I will gladly work on it!
While I am updating and squashing bugs for free, working on new features requires time and everyone knows that time equals money.
I am however, open to suggestions that are directly related and crucial to the plugin.

By the way, it says my sign is working, and I place it 2 blocks below the chest, so that's gotta work. I have the CloneZ plugin on my server too. Will that be the problem, or is it just me? I think the second one.. If I create a sign it says the loot sing is created, but I dont understand what I'm doing wrong.

Posted May 9, 2013I'm making my own MineZ based game, but I can't get it working. I'm such a fool at this level. Could someone send me his/her version of the lists? I want lists though, so no same spawn over the whole world please.

I'm using TeeePeee's plugin: MyZ. Im using default config but i change my world name to enable chests in whole world... and those chests are normal chests, commands are working.

Make sure the plugin is enabled (you can check by typing any of the commands and getting a response). If it is, then when you open the chest you should get a message in the console stating the error. If you don't then it's probably a typo in the world name on the worlds list.

I really wouldn't know as it depends on how the author manages weapon spawning :/
Guess the best way to know is to test it out yourself.

Posted May 4, 2013is it possible to have all world chests that refill have the same format as a sign chest? I want all world chests to not refill if players are in its radius speaking of which, my 2nd question: If a player leaves the radius of the chest, the chest will begin counting down, however, if the person comes back does the counter reset?

I cant say for sure, since its reading the chance as an int, but im assuming it interprets it as 1, rounding the number. Anyways, the plugin is going to have a mayor update soon, I'll make sure of changing it to reading that value as a double.

I'm not quite sure of what you mean. If you mean that you can put signs specifying the properties of a chest that is in the worlds list, then yes, it will ignore the lists you set up for the world and just use the properties on the sign.

Posted May 3, 2013i fixed it, I had for the amount written down "0-1" as when I wrote it I wanted it to be even more random between 0 and 1 but now I used 1-1 and changed the chance to 0.5, btw does that work or will that spawn them as 0% chance?

Posted May 1, 2013my players (and I) and noticing that when a diamond spawns in the chest, it will disappear after grabbing it, I will grab the diamond, then place it in my inventory, if I do anything else (pick it up again, exit inventory) it will despawn out of my inventory and be deleted.
