LolnetNoLagg
This light weight and easy to use plugin aims to reduce lag by setting limits of high demanding stuff (e.g. mob spawned).
This plugin is still at development stages and I will be adding more feature
How it works
For Limiting mobs: The default limit is 600 (changeable via command and config file). This feature aims to still allow Monsters spawning at the normal rate but once the feature runs (via command or auto (every 5min default). It will check how many Monsters there are (including bats and squrds) and starts removing a percentage of monsters at random. Because of the random feature players normally will not notice monsters being removed unless the limit is very low (e.g. 0). Hopefully it will only have to remove between 1-10% every run.

| /lolnetNoLagg AutoRun | output if AutoRun is on |
| /lolnetNoLagg AutoRun <on/off> | turn on or off autoRun |
| /lolnetNoLagg AutoRunTime | outputs how often in minutes AutoRun |
| /lolnetNoLagg AutoRunTime # | Changes to auto run every # minutes |

Sorry for the wait but I have good news. I have uploaded the next version. and will edit the main page with the new commands which includes the auto run.
The Version 0.2 has to be approved before it can be downloaded.
The reason for the delay in uploading the timing was a bit buggy so I wanted to make it was perfect (at least I hope so)

right now I havn't thought up with any good features to add I will update this when people want something added/ fixed
Right now there is not automatic feature (I will add this now) i guess you could use cronjob untill the update
in terms of hard limit. My aim of this plugin is to allow more mobs from spawning but try and keep the spawn limit. In doing this the players won't complain saying "why isn't my mob-spawner working"
My best suggestion is to run "/lolnetNoLagg run" more often (1-5min maybe)

Posted Apr 2, 2013Trying this out because I'm desperate for a properly working mob limiter. Tried MobManager but it completely killed enderman farms in the end. How often will you be updating this?
Also, is it already automatic or should I go ahead and set up a cronjob until the update?
And, perhaps add a hard limit to prevent more than x from spawning
