A bukkit plugin that makes players pay for protecting their items

This plugin was designed to make a player(s) to pay for protection of their chests, furnaces, doors etc. It hooks into Lockette for the sign protection and Vault for the economy & permissions.

If you are upgarding from version 2.4.3 you must delete your config.yml file & messages.yml file

Features
The Plugin uses Vault so it is compatible with all economy and permission systems. This plugin lets you currently do the following:
- Sell lockette containers to other players
- Charge a global fee for protecting a container using lockette
- Charge a group fee for protecting a container using lockette

Posted Dec 8, 2013It's been a very long time since I have worked on this due to commitment's in life. However I have decided to start working on it again, for the mean time I have pushed updated code to my GitHub account which works with the latest 1.7.2 dev build.
Next job is to fix all the bugs.

Posted Nov 20, 2013I can't protect my chest. it deletes the sign (creates a new 1 actually) my users are using a duplication bug for signs. -.- I have $7284.4. when i lock a chest, 1st it says; '[Lockette] you succesfully locked this container', and the sign stays 1 sec but then it dissapears and says: 'You need 5000 dollars to protect this container but you only have 2258.4 dollars'
please help me quick!

Lockette doesn't use a database (which means less resource use by the server), so there isn't a way to limit the number of locks any given player can create. Lockette works by actively cross checking the player's username with the name(s) on the chest, not by looking up information saved on the server in a config file.

Posted Jun 29, 2013@KevinEssence - Yes, I've known about that as well. Even if you add 146 and 146:5 to the custom-lockable-block-list, this addon will not recognize the price charge when standing up. However, if you are in sneak mode, it will charge you when placing a sign on a trapped chest.
This has been verified on LocketteAddon 2.6 with Lockette 1.7.12 on CraftBukkit 1.5.2-R1.0 (with Java 1.7.0_21

Posted Mar 15, 2013Is it just me, or is the sourcecode on github out of date?
Also, is there a way I can only allow this plugin in certain worlds? We're getting a new map parallel with the old one for 1.5, and the refund thing obviously will mean players gain a huge amount of cash for nothing if they break old locks which they didn't pay for.
(It's a fairly specific feature request, that's why I'm asking for the sourcecode.)
