CrackShot worked because you could give the gun a custom ID and put that ID in the config. Now that Minecraft will no longer support IDs, doing it this way will be broken. If CrackShot lets you override an item and you give a player that item, then that functionality will still work.

Both of those assertions are very new to me. DarkRP was very popular when I actively played Garry's Mod, and still appears to be from looking at the server list. I also hadn't even heard of Minecraft till my Garry's Mod community introduced me to it while it was still in alpha, and as an extremely popular game, it surely has a ton of overlap with a game rather similar in concept.

Update 2.3b Released

If you have a previous version installed

1. Delete plugins/lightrp/lightrp.db
   • This will reset the database
   • ATMs, doors, jails, and players will be reset
   • This is due to a change that had to be made to the way the database stores items due to Minecraft phasing out item IDs
2. Check your config
   • Item IDs are no longer supported and will need to be replaced with the item's name
   • This will break support for CrackShot
   • Swords should be listed as material_sword instead of materialsword (e.g., iron_sword)

• Allow police to remove money printers using the item confiscator for a reward
  • Removing a money printer with the item confiscator will destroy the printer

Will the development of this plugin become active again?

That depends on a few things. One of the largest factors is the popularity of LightRP. As a game I don't even play myself, there is little motivation for me to continue working on it. If you like the plugin, and know others that would too, please spread the word and show your support.

If I don't update LightRP within the month I will release the source code. The next update will most likely be cleaning up what I've finished under the planned features section, fixing current bug tickets, and making sure it is compatible with the latest version of Bukkit. A GUI overhaul will be the new feature priority after that. No promises.
