The problem and this plugin

This plugin will deal with those who use a small to medium-sized set of accounts to spam leaves.There are people out there that have an estimated accountlist of over 2000 accounts. How these minecraft premium accounts were gathered is unknown. It is most likely impossible to write a plugin to protect against these "professional" server griefers... These accounts will connect with different IPs, so banning by IP is not a solution.

This plugin will "catch" these accounts one by one. A medium-sized server with a few GBs of ram can only last so long depending on the settings set by the host. A minute would be a good estimate.

Possible solutions

It is only possible if many, many servers work together to put together a list of these "breached accounts". One must however keep in mind, these accounts most likely belong to honest players who are completely oblivious of what their account is used for. Somehow, these people must be informed that they must immediately change their passwords.

Some solutions that have come to mind:

• Every minecraft username that has been banned for leave-spamming gets stored on an online list. Players with these usernames that try to connect to a server, where they have been banned for leave-spamming (without them knowing it), will then be directed to this list where they can have their ban appealed (make clear that they have changed their passwords).
• Use an existing database of bans, for instance mcbans.com
  
  If these leavescripters gather minecraft usernames and passwords at a rate of over hundreds a day, it's simply out of control. This is all unknown.
