What is LearnBlocks

LearnBlocks is a plugin to help you learn what each block is called. The point wasn't much when I was thinking of it. I know there is a Minecraft wiki and all that stuff but instead of opening your browser and locating it you might as well just have a plugin tell you each block you are placing.

Learning Servers

This plugin is ideal for learning servers (if that even exists). While making the plugin I got the idea of learning servers where you learn how to play Minecraft.

Such a failure of a idea. Nobody will really benefit from them except the very new of players.

How to use it as a personal server

You can host a server on localhost and practice Minecraft alone or with some new friends.

Setup

Download the LearnBlocks.jar file Place it in your /plugins directory. Launch your server

Setting up a multiplayer server

Setup a bukkit server (Refer to: ) Install the plugin by following the above steps. Install any other plugins you want Volia!

People who don't like it

If you think this plugin is useless, has no type of worth. Well that's what I thought in the first place. It didn't take me long to think of a purpose of it. When you think about it such a simple and basic plugin can have such worth. This is my first plugin ever. I'm sure my next plugin will have a better usage for it. I'm probably going to learn much more about java/bukkit than the basic I know and start taking plugin requests.

To-do

• Add support for Vault and create a command which toggles the show per-block feature.
• Add permissions to show which ranks can use the plugin Any other ideas of what to do with this plugin?
