LapisPortals
This plugin adds the ability to create portal structures that link to each other based on the contents of a chest. There are two types of portals: default and global. Default portals will link from portal A to portal B and vice-versa. Global portals act as a central node for teleportation and can eliminate the need for /home and /spawn commands.

the problem has to do with the multi-world plugins loading after this one. That's why you get a null pointer exception, the extra worlds haven't yet loaded.
I will fix this in a future release

The problem is not that the name has changed the world. The problem is that I have several maps, and the portal would be a map to another is it possible?.

If you changed maps it doesn't load correctly, but a simple reboot should of been fine. I have restarted my server many times and they work perfectly as long as i don't change worlds.
For changing worlds you have to move the folder LapisPortals makes (not the .jar file) out of the plugins and save it for the next time you load that world (but don't change the name of the folder) and then it will load for the next world you are loading and you will have to move that folder in and out for each world in which that folder was made for.
He is going to fix this when he has time.
but untill then the plugin is too cool to not deal with the minor inconvenience :-)

I noticed something... When you get in a portal and "punch" the door to close it, it doesn't tp you. But when you left click the door to close it, the teleporter works fine. I thought this was an intresting bug you should know about :)

Posted Jun 27, 2012I loaded essentials and the lapis portals still work great. Essentials is extremely awesome as well. But this plugin makes traveling so simple. I have set up a portal station with many portals ready to go when the kids go exploring and find a cool place and they have the lapis to build one end of the portal they build it and then I build the other end at the station. That way they can always go back there. I make them give me the coordinates though just in case.
The point of my rambling is they LOVE the LapisPortal plugin

I am actually not using any multi world plugin yet. It takes me a long time to decide to use a plugin. I basically set this up for my 9 year old son and his friends after they had several attempts at finding a server that they could use and enjoy. I know they are out there but sometimes finding one can be a bit crazy and discouraging. I do not give any of them admin as kids can be a bit destructive at times if things don't go their way or someone doesn't want to do what the other wants. For example: it took me about 2 weeks to decide which grief protection to use. I chose "Grief Prevention" and set all the land claiming limits at zero and I dish out the land for them, this saves me the grief LOL. I chose LopisPortals because if they worked to get the Lapis they could build their own, and I can still make as many as I want for them. It really is an Awesome Plugin.
I am looking at MyWorlds and have been for a while, just not sure I want to go that way yet.
