LandClaiming
Description
LandClaiming was developed for ZW_15 to work as a world protection plugin. With this plugin, players can claim any land, with any size or shape as long is it does not go over the max amount of claimed blocks (which is configurable).
Github:
https://github.com/ZombieStriker/LandClaiming
Commands
- /lock lock a block
- /lock <add/remove> <player> allowed players to use a block
- /unlock unlock a block
- /claim <claimed region's name> claims an area
- /claim <info> shows info about regions
- /claim <name> <add/remove> <playername> allows players to interact with your claimed land
- /unclaim <name> unlcaims land
permissions
- landclaim.*: Gives access to all permissions
- landclaim.admin: Gives access to all permissions
- landclaim.default: Gives access to default permissions (Required to claim land)

Posted Apr 23, 2019So I am trying to give people the correct roles for claiming but I am unsure how to do so, any help here?
Not sure if I need to go into the config files or if I can do it in game.

Posted Apr 12, 2019Hi, I hope this is still being seen to!
This is the first simple land-claim plugin I've found that actually works!
Others I've tried had major errors, had additions I didn't want (e.g. Factions with armies/wars. No thanks!), or were just really old and not updated.
Were there any plans to add an option to make more blocks purchasable?
E.g:
maxclaimedblocks:
>group:
>>Default: 5000
>>>cost_per_additional_block: 10.0
# or even cost_per_additional_20_blocks/a config for selecting how much $ per how many blocks
>>vip: 7500
>>>cost_per_additional_block: 5.0
>>op: -1
>>>cost_per_additional_block: 0
That's the only other thing I'm really looking for, and as I said, everything else I've tried doesn't seem to have played nice :(
Thank you for your plugin!

Posted Mar 13, 2019Hello, I am having difficulties changing the limit of which Default players can claim the land. Its default set to 500, but I would like them to be able to claim how ever much they want but when I set the default to "-1" and reload it. It resets back to 500. I could really use some help!

Most likely, there is atleast one area that is claimed in a unused/removed world. If you don't have many saved claimed areas, I recommend you temporarily remove the config and let a new one generate.

To claim an area, simply type /claim <name> and right click the corners of the area that you want to claim.

Posted Mar 1, 2019Hi!
I am trying to claim land in the game, but it isn't working. I am on 1.12.2, using server.pro hosting. I can't seem to claim any land. I right click with the golden shovel and it just turns the grass to pathway. Same with a wooden one.
Am I not using the right item? Is it glitched? Please get back to me as soon as possible.

LandClaiming does not use shovels for claiming. Instead, use /claim <name of the new area> to start claiming, and simply right click the corners of the area that you want to claim.

permissions.yml: group: Owner: - '*' - -landclaim.*or you could use the command
and it'll do it itself. Otherwise, as far as I know you cannot revoke OP permissions besides the preset ones with Bukkit (OP levels) that only control if they can use things like /stop and stuff.
EDIT:
Also I haven't even used this plugin, I was just checking it out but the author could have put the bypassing land in the landclaim.admin permission so maybe just do that instead. Though it's still extremely important that you remember to /pex reload after you configure and you put the negative permission below your * permission.

Posted Feb 4, 2019I have a similar problem to https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/landclaiming?comment=127
And was hoping a fix might be in the works, but one thing I have noticed, maybe I am doing something wrong.
you can claim an infinite amount of blocks by just doing 1xwhatever
I could do 1x100 but not 2x2. (set limit to 0)
If I am doing something wrong I would like to know.

Posted Jan 28, 2019Hello!
I'm on the latest version of this plugin Minecraft 1.13.2, the plugin works very well, that's not the problem. The principal color of my server is cyan, so I always put the colors of the plugin on blue and cyan but I can't change the color of the second corner that you claim because the config.yml doesn't have that option.

Posted Jan 27, 2019Hello!
I'm on Minecraft 1.13.1, and I have tried editing the file so each group has a different amount of blocks. IE:
group:
#Default: 5000
#Member: 10000
op: -1
Traveler: 400
Apprentice: 3000
Thief: 6000
Rogue: 13000
Outlaw: 16000
Assassin: 26000
Renegade: 40000
Lawless: 36000
Corrupted: 53000
Pirate: 66000
CustomRank: 80000
Yet it never saves. It resets on restart, which is annoying. I haven't even gotten to the testing phase yet. Do you know what's going on here?
