Kits



Kits is a simple yet deceptively powerful plugin allowing you to create, edit and spawn custom kits in-game. When creating and editing a kit, you are provided an inventory in which you will be able to place any item into; changes are made when this inventory is closed.

- Manage Kits entirely in-game with a custom-size inventory GUI for you to add items to or remove items from.
- Everything is drag n' drop
- Create a kit with any name. Kit names are not case sensitive.
- Store any item, with any stack size, name, lore and enchantment; you get back what you added.
- Spawn a kit by clicking on a kit sign.
- Toggle Player inventory overwrite for individual kits.
- Create complete inventory kits.
- Add delays between kits. Kits can have their own individual delays.
- Simple in-game commands displayed and explained below!

- Works with CB 1.7.10-R0.1; works with previous versions that support the UUID changes.
- Hopefully fixed time delay issues.
- Time delay expressions can now be stated literally ("1 month and 2 days, 3 hours & 4 minutes" is a valid expression)
- Cleaned some code.
- Added support for Gravity's updater.

Kits is open source and available on GitHub. There's also an API for developers to create their own plugins that hook into Kits:
This plugin utilizes Gravity's plugin update system. By default, it only checks if any updates are available. You can disable the updater in the config by setting enabled to false. types of updates:
- default - automatically update if the current version of Kits is out of date.
- force - automatically update regardless of the current version
- check - do not download, only check the latest version.
This plugin utilises Hidendra's plugin metrics system, which means that the following information is collected and sent to mcstats.org:
- A unique identifier
- The server's version of Java
- Whether the server is in offline or online mode
- The plugin's version
- The server's version
- The OS version/name and architecture
- The core count for the CPU
- The number of players online
- The Metrics version
- Opting out of this service can be done by editing plugins/Plugin Metrics/config.yml and changing opt-out to true.

When a reload occurs or you restart the server. It then resets the cooldown period.

Posted Sep 14, 2013I set the delay to "999999999"(there is nine 9s) That is the maximum. It translates to 38 years. However some players were able to use this kit every day, and when they try to use it again it says 99999999etc. How is this possible?

Posted Sep 13, 2013Issue. Kits v1.5 seems to be incompatible with Multiverse SignPortal v2.4 and v2.5(dev).
When clicking on a board which is pointing to an anchor in Multiverse Signportal or pointing to a portal from Multiverse Portal, nothing happens. Same config but the kits plugin disabled. Everything works fine. I run 45 plugins on a bukkit server on 1.6.2 R1 (#2879) and disabled them one by one by turn, in order to find the issue.
It would be usefull to be able to disable the use of Signs in the Kits config file... Thanks! Planesto

Posted Aug 31, 2013can you make it that if you make specific command that replace specific kit so like if you have kit 1 and you change it to kit 2 it doesnt removes kit 1 but when kit 1 changes to kit 3 it kit 1 will disapear

1. I want potions that never expire. How would I set the kit?
2. Does the loot go spilling over the floor if someone dies? Can other pick it up?
3. If there is a donor, how would I give him/her extra kits, but not others?

Posted Aug 27, 2013So, is there a way to make it so that the delays are for that kit only? I know it's supposed to be, but it kind of isn't. Here's an example of how I have things set up on my server:
Rank Warrior gets warrior kit.
Rank Crusader gets warrior and crusader kit.
Crusader rank can use /kit warrior, but can't use /kit crusader even if they haven't used it before. For some reason, the delays carry over to all ranks. I have a different delay for several more ranks as well, and I just want this fixed or worked out.
Does anyone have any ideas?
