KitPvP - Create custom kits and kit menu!

This project is inactive and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. The author may have abandoned it, or it may have outlived its usefulness.

Setup

Creating an Arena

First, make sure you have a world folder in the root of your server. Make sure the folder name doesn't have any spaces or capitalized letters in it. Then, ingame execute the command /kitpvp create <game>, replacing <game> with the name of the world folder. The server may freeze for a few seconds, while it loads the world. Then, it will place you in setup mode inside the arena world.

Player Tools

To enter setup mode, execute the command /kitpvp setup <game>.

Setting Player spawnpoint

To set the game spawn, place the bedrock block in the first slot of your hotbar. Players joining/respawning will spawn on this bedrock block. Setting the safezone

The spawn safezone is the place where players cannot take damage. Use the blaze rod in your hotbar to set the spawn area, by right/left clicking to set the two points.

Creating the kit selection GUI

Right click the book in your hotbar to open the selection menu. By default, it is empty. It will place all current kits in your inventory, allowing you to place them anywhere inside the open inventory to create the GUI. You can also add things like glass. When you close the inventory, it will save any modifications.

Creating/editing kits

To edit/create kits, right click the ender chest in your hotbar. This will bring up the kit menu, where you can view existing kits or create a new one. To create a new one, select "Enter Kit Creation Mode". This will clear your inventory, and allow you to equip whatever you want in your inventory to save as a kit. When you are done, enter the command /kitpvp savekit <kit>. This will save your inventory as a kit with the specified name, as well as return you to your previous inventory. You can go back and edit it by opening the kit menu again, then left clicking on your kit to apply it to your inventory and enter edit mode. The kit icon is set by the first item in your inventory.

To enable the game for players to join, use the command /kitpvp enable <game> To exit setup mode, do /kitpvp leave.
