APRIL 17, 2013 UPDATE

And if you're too lazy to listen to my 3 minute update, here's the TL;DL version: Real life prevented me from updating the plugin, but things are slowing down now, so I'm going to be RECODING it from the ground up (with SQL support)! Kingdoms 2.0 is coming shortly! :)

Yahtze & Latros are long-time Minecraft server hosts. They both ran Battlecraft, one of the largest and most successful servers in the history of MC - paving the way for Minecraft PvP Servers to eventually grow and become one of the most popular genres. Now they are both losers who code bukkit plugins instead... mainly, Guilds! Come and chat with us here. Also, we code a lot. Unfortunately real life does take precedence over online life albeit I wish it didn't; what are our options eh? Anyways, hopefully latros finds some free time to update you all, I myself am even finding it difficult to have ample amount of time to dedicate to my online life sometimes...

Lol that's how its looking. I've been waiting on this up date for this thing now for 2 months so i can get my server back up with something different. but the plugin i found has a slow Author(s). :P

That is a completely different project that is maintained currently by myself (code) and Remdul (web/other). Latros is not yet officially a part of that albeit he's listed. Now, Latros has expressed his interest in a continuation of the Kingdoms project through a second version.

Posted Apr 29, 2013You're Going to make to where we can make admin claims right? I would like it so an op will able to make multiple kingdoms an make them some sort of an admin claim. It would be cool this way, cause you could make multiple towns for rpg servers and and make it so they can't raid an admin kingdom.
And then... Maybe make it to where we can make custom entry and leaving messages for safe zones and admin claim. I personally don't like the "Now entering" I would just like it say what I tell it. Like, "Hyrule Feild" and that's all.
Great plugin, you know I've been watching it for the past 4 months now. This plugin will 100% replace factions and towny. I don't think you realize the scope of how big this plugin will be.

Posted Apr 28, 2013While you're recoding, make sure to also makea complete list of perms and commands; many of them don't work at the moment. I have no problems however, as I warned my players just to use it for claiming land.

This really pisses me off, too. A little documentation wouldn't hurt. :/
Anyway, you guys are doing a great job, and the only thing keeping you from dominating the scene right now is that you're not updating it. The second that this gets and update and some documentation is the day that it becomes a viable option for everybody who wants to use it.

Only thing im struggling with is finding all the commands xD Like the Chat commands? Not a clue how to get to the chat :L (Using the latest Kingdoms plugin, not Guilds)

Posted Apr 22, 2013I noticed that paired with hero-chat and permissions-ex it changes the player name to white because it places the guild name before the player name but after the rank prefix. It their a way to move where the guild tag appears in the chat?

I think, that territory claim by chunks, but plot (where simple citizen live) setting by selection (as worldguard or residence). With this method mayors can manage cities more iteresting.
