Kill Rankup
Kill Rankup is a plugin used to automatically rank up players based on their kill count.
The player's kill count is saved inside of the config.yml, along with every other aspect of the plugin. The config currently holds the rank options, plugin messages, and player stats.
This plugin was created from a request made here.
Installation
- Download the plugin and it's dependency (Vault)
- Put Kill-Rankup.jar in your server's /plugins folder and start/reload the server.
- Edit the config.yml to your liking.
- Reload the server.

This plugin uses Vault. There are other plugins out there that can handle this functionality. For instance I use Simple Prefix which uses Vault. Simply enabling Vault in the Simple Prefix config file yields the rank. As for level, no idea on that one.

It uses Vault as a dependency because it uses permissions. It does not create its own ranks. All it does is move them to another permissions group that you have configured in your permissions plugin, such as PEX, GroupManager, bPermissions, etc.

Maybe you can also make it so that when someone ranks up you can link it to existing ranks in GroupManager (or other group/permission manager plugins). This could be useful so that we could also edit their permissions as they rank up.

Posted May 10, 2014I have not been able to release the new update because I am currently working on my other plugin, Survival Games X. It is a much bigger project so I have more commitment towards it. I promise the new version of Kill-Rankup will be uploaded soon.
