KeepMostInventory
So I do not like either option for death in Minecraft.
Loosing all stuff has you often grind for gear. Keeping all feels kind of cheaty.
This is why I created KeepMostInventory.
This lets you keep all tools, Armor and Shulker boxes when dying, but everything else will be dropped. Even tells you what you lost. I am planning to make a better version in the future with a config to toggle exactly what you want to keep and or loose and deals with Curses.
Hope you enjoy, please tell me about bugs if you find one or make feature requests.
gamerule keepinventory has to be true for the plugin to work.

Posted Apr 19, 2026Hello, this plugin is good and works well, but I was wondering is there a way to remove the Item list? After you die it tells you what items you lost. Is there a way to remove it? Also a config.yml file would be nice.

Posted Jul 12, 2020Well hey, this is neat. Works well enough, just tested it on my server. And a specific toggle would be even better, and I eagerly await that. I've always felt the same about Minecraft death, so this plugin is very good for what me and my buddy have planned.
