Keep Inventory
This plugin was designed for the server staff team or VIP players. Simply give the group the keepitems permission and they will keep their items and armor on death, optinal exp too.
This is perfectly if you dont want to use the gamerule "keepInventory" since this would affect everyone in the set world.

Posted Apr 8, 2014I would use this for my server if you made it to where you can toggle areas where this worked/didn't work, and could configure what the player drops & doesn't drop (say I only wanted them to drop their inventory, yet keep their first slot and armor).

This plugin allows you to use "/gamerule keepinventory true" only on people who you give the permission to.
