Keep Inventory

Table of Contents

This plugin was designed for the server staff team or VIP players. Simply give the group the keepitems permission and they will keep their items and armor on death, optinal exp too.
This is perfectly if you dont want to use the gamerule "keepInventory" since this would affect everyone in the set world.

This is not a bug, it keeps the inventory on respawn. Not on rejoin ;)
But I'll maybe add a feature in the next version to keep the inventory on a relog

Edit: Check my other plugin "InstaSpawn" -> It disables the respawn screen, and the player cannot click on "Back to Main Menu"

I found a bug. If the player opts to return to the title screen instead of respawning, they'll lose their inventory on relog.

Did you give them the correct permissions? I've tested the plugin a few days, none of my players lost their items or exp with the correct permission.

yes /gamerule works but if you think about it this way you need to set that game rule in every world on that server this just makes it simple for keep inventory in all worlds with one permissions is it lazy yes but it beats doing /gamerule in every world XD

I highly recommend adding a permission for keeping experience. But other than that, very nice plugin.

You should add a permission to whitelist some blocks so some blocks dont drop when they die.

Try to read the description! And the other comments.
Gamerule affects the whole world! This plugin is permission based, so only certain players or groups keep their Inventory.

This is perfect because I find "most" when they know the "gamerule" is enabled will NOT care how n when they die. Then keep killing themselves over n over n over again. So for staff and a few "lagit" players this is perfect for my server...

Suggestion, could you make it so you can have a % of items restored on death EX: Lowest level of VIP gets 50% Item recovery on death Mid Level of VIP gets 75% item recovery on death High Level of VIP gets 100% item recovery on death. ect... ect...

Ofcourse there is, but the gamerule does apply for every player in the current world. This plugin is permission based, so only a specific group/player will keep the inventory on death.

And for all others:
Just WAIT, the file is not approved yet!!! As soon as a bukkitdev staff member/moderator approrved my project, there will be a download link!

Hi, doesn't gamerule apply to everybody? I am looking for just adding this command for a specific group not the whole server.

Sorry, this feature is'nt planned. It is a simple plugin which keeps the Inventory on death for the defined players.
I'm sure there are other plugins which fit your needs.
