This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.
Plugin removed, sorry! I was requested to keep this private.
Took hell of a long time to figure out what numbers I should put to make players jump in the direction I wanted to, after 3 hours of trying, it was worth it i guess, it's a good plugin but extremely difficult to figure out x y z velocity.
remember
X is left and right (a strike through the middle. left and right)
Y is up and down (split down the middle: up and down)
Z is Back and Forth ( is the same )
use the letters as a guide
ALSO forgot to point out you can put in -1.5 and such as well to send you in the oppisate direction. allthough -Y will not put you 500 feet in the ground..you'll just suffocate
Afaik, its not easy to do the vector calculation, because you need to take into account the gravity factor, which you dont know. If I have some spare time later, I might do some digging into NMS code to see if I can find anything, but no guarantees.
Whoops. Sorry about that guys! Was an issue when I changed the name from LaunchPads to JumpPads.. (LaunchPads is taken :P ). Anyways, I've uploaded the new file
Would be cool if it worked.. It is a bit simple though, I know it is a new plugin but maybe you could add a function to calculate the Velocity vector by just giving 2 blocks, one being the jumppad and the other one the land position
It doesn't work, can you put in an example of a sign so I can see if what I'm doing is right. I'm hoping to do a plugin showcase on this but sadly I need to understand it first, haha.

Posted Aug 21, 2013Hello I would like to report a bug.
With the 'Ride' function the block sometimes stays at the place where it lands.

lol, sorry about that. There's not much of a better way to do this.
The plugin wont need updating unless new features are requested.
