Join+

A plugin by TreeCraft - See http://treecraft.in/our-plugins/ for more information
Join+ is a easy to use and light join system. It's easily configurable, and supports countries being displayed in the join message (requires GeoIPTools API). It's been tested, but we also need testers to report issues to us for them to be fixed in future releases.
Features
We have a few features such as customizable login, quit and kick messages, with easily replaceable content in our configuration. We also support having your user's country be displayed on login, which can help build strong communities or bonds.
Configuration
We provide a simple default config for people to enjoy and use. You can modify it as you wish, it seems self explanatory, and the colour codes can be found here.
joinmsg: '&a--> &e{PLAYER}&a connected from &b{COUNTRY}&a.' leavemsg: '&c<-- &e{PLAYER}&c disconnected' kickmsg: '&c<-- &e{PLAYER}&c was kicked (Reason: {REASON})'
Commands
This plugin is a plugin that has no commands, you can reload it using a plugin manager or /reload
Permissions
Lucky you, this plugin requires no permissions to run!
Current Release: Beta v1.0.0
Although this is a beta release, it's still considered very stable, only very unstable releases will hit Alpha, Beta is more of a release candidate.

Posted Jun 10, 2013This plugin is no longer working in MineCraft version 1.5.2
I would greatly appreciate a fix as this is the simplest plugin I could find to edit join messages :(
