Joe's Horse Collect
A horse is a horse of course of course!
What is it?
This is a plugin for Minecraft Bukkit servers. Once installed, players can store and retrieve horses. Also an effective solution for teleporting horses. Tested and still works in 1.7.2
How do I use it?
Drop in your plugins folder. Players use "/hc" to collect the horse they are riding. Then use "/hp" to place a collected horse. You can use "/hl" to list the horses you have collected so far.
How can I configure it?
By default players can collect up to 2 horses and ops 1000. Permissions allow different limits as follows:
- 25 = joe.horsecollect.angel
- 10 = joe.horsecollect.platinum
- 05 = joe.horsecollect.gold
- 03 = joe.horsecollect.silver

Posted Apr 17, 2014could you please update soon with Mulit world support? That would be very helpful. On my creative world, had to use World Guard black list and in game blocking of cmd's to keep ppl from taking/using/transporting items from creative...
Other than that is a great plugin! Good job :)

Posted Feb 26, 2014Please update. love the plugin for my players but finding other players teleporting to other worlds with mules and chests, then transporting item they are NOT suppose too. I use multinventory to keep inventory of each world, the use of mules is cheating uggg. think I will have to take the plugin off my server...

love the plugin, very simple and easy to use. looking forward for an update using 1.6.2 beta to fix the speed storage method. 'horses' plugin has just updated to do that, but bundles protection and many other things together, which we dont need on our server XD really like the function of this very simple /hc /hl /hp
ok, found my problem XD apparently OSX archive utility didnt stop unzipping when it saw the .jar so every time i unzipped the main zip file, it unzipped the jar inside it automatically.... got stuffit and unzipped it that way, and the jar is present. sorry and thank you for your help ive unzipped thousands of things, but never had it do this XD

Those r not the files in the root of the zip. Open the zip file, what is the first file u see? U r looking IN the jar file right now.

i dont see a jar? i see a plugin.yml and a folder of classes. in the zip.
also, does this one have the ability to save speed and other stats? if it cant then i dont need to test it quite yet anyways.

Unzip and put the .jar in your plugins folder. Of course, restart server after too if you do it while running.

Posted Aug 13, 2013this is probably really stupid question, but how to i install this one. its a zip, not used to that. ive dropped the zip file in. nothing, unzipped it and dropped the folder in, and still nothing. what am i doing wrong? (using CB 1.6.2 R0.1)
does this one have a method to save and restore horse speed and all other stats?

Posted Aug 5, 2013we are on 1.0.4, i typed /hc debug, the console said Permission Debug set to True. We have the permission nodes all lower case, and the console gives no output when we try to do /hc on a third horse.

Yes, don't worry about the .dat filename. Just an internal detail where I changed the type of data stored (the plugin will automatically upgrade old file to new if you update versions, then continue to just use the new file).
The "stuck on 2 horses" thing is definitely permissions related. There is an undocumented feature of running "hc debug" while in game as an Op. It will enable permissions debug mode and the server Console will receive information about permissions seen when the player's horse limit is checked.
The permission may be case sensitive. It's all lowercase so joe.horsecollect.platinum for example to limit to 10. The numbers should work too. You could try testing with joe.horsecollect.platinum (all lowercase) to see if that works too.

Heres another minor issue...
We are using version 1.0.4, but the .dat file is still named horsecollectiondata_v3.dat
Im sure its fine, but its just something I noticed.

Posted Jul 31, 2013Found 2 issues, one is major.
Horses coming out of storage have like 26 hearts, I believe its when u /hc a horse with very low health.
Second issue is with WorldGuard and the allowing of /hp in worldguard zones that you modified. The issue with that is the player is allowed to spawn the horse in a WG zone, but they cannot mount or lead the horse due to some other plugin that I have that is supposed to prevent 'stealing' of horses in other peoples zones. Problem arised when players /hp in the main Spawn area (they arent owners of that area) then they cant mount thier horses and they are stuck.
Hope that made sense. the solution as I see it would be to reverse the /hp WG check and have it Deny /hp in a Worldguard zone, rather than allow it as it is now.
