JoinCleanChat

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Features

It basically means that when a player joins, he is "isolated", i.e. he cannot chat and cannot receive chats. he will only see messages by other plugins e.g. Essentials' Broadcasts or welcome messages

To toggle it back on, the player does: /chat (jcc.toggle permission)

If he has chat off, it turns it on and vice versa.

To see who has chat off from the console, do /chatstat. This tells you 'Players who have chat turned off. ' in console.

If you run /chatstat as a player (jcc.check permission) it just tells him his own status e.g. Your chat is off :(

Configuration and Permissions

Messages are configurable in the configuration.

If you wish to forever isolate a player permanently, what you can do is remove his permission to toggle chat (as anyone who joins will immediately be isolated until toggled) and add him to the config (I store isolated players' names here)

If a player has chat off and quits the game, he will still be chat off the next time he joins.

There is no OP bypass for this for now.

Others

  • IN THEORY, JCC should work fine with a plugin manager e.g. PlugMan or PluginManager.
