Overview - Jail - Bukkit Plugins - Projects

Jail

Table of Contents

This plugins adds Jail to your minecraft server. Admins can define several jails and then jail/unjail people or jail them on time basis. Plugin also offers wide variety of protections, so players won't escape out of your jail.

Features:

Jail online and offline players
Wide variety of protections to prevent escaping or simply to create more interesting escape route on role play server.
Protection penalties (increase jail sentence if player is not behaving well)
Guards that will kill player if he tries to escape
Data is stored in either SQLite or MySQL.
Supports multiple worlds
Jailing without commands via item
Supports escaping for role play servers.
Allows players to vote a player to be jailed

Plugin Stats
(you can opt-out from tracking in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml)

Welcome graywolf336 to the team :D

He will be (and already has been) helping out with a lot of the bug fixes and coding some of the new features later on whilst I am busy with college work etc.

Whilst I will still be working on the plugin I will not be able to do as much as I could before, however, when I get the chance I will be checking over the plugin and doing as much as I can.

There is a Dev Build of 2.5.7 on Multidude's website.

Love the scoreboard support!! :D Helps jailed players see how much time they have left easily, thanks for adding that.

This could be a good idea. But I think it'll be hard to implement in.

Not to like a a like a jerk or anything, but have to keep the features great and suitable to everyone who uses this plugin.

Is there a way to have a jail remove and KEEP certain items? I use this for my prison server and when jailed, I'd love to remove contrabands like swords and such.

I know how you feel, getting me all depressed knowing how many bugs need fixing xD

I will be sure to look further into Jail Stick and probably just rewrite it from scratch because as it is it is a buggy mess.

Jail stick still seems utterly broken and unusable. Getting some reports of missing items or some such thing.

Overall Jail has so many bugs it's getting me all depressed and I don't even feel like reporting the bugs anymore.

But could you take a look at the Jail Stick and it's many problems... ?

Thanks for the excellent job you're doing. Couldn't hope for better.

Not annoying, I need constant reminders of these things xD

I have been working on getting the plugin to be more stable before focusing on these things, I need to make some changes to the API to make it so it actually works properly.

Hopefully within the next couple of weeks it will all be sorted out :D

It is possible to change chest inventory, when player is jailed. Default is iron axe.

Hey guys, I have started work on another (probably more simple but quite nice) plugin, AutoAnswer. This plugin attempts to automatically answer players questions so that your admins / moderators and you don't have to.

On the config file you can make sure /spawn is one of the commands not permitted to use while jailed. You also need to disable the option to give perms back on escape this way they get teleported back to cell.

They shouldn't be able to. If the player is outside of the jail they will automatically be teleported back to the jail cell.
