Overview - Jail - Bukkit Plugins - Projects

Jail

Table of Contents

This plugins adds Jail to your minecraft server. Admins can define several jails and then jail/unjail people or jail them on time basis. Plugin also offers wide variety of protections, so players won't escape out of your jail.

Features:

Jail online and offline players
Wide variety of protections to prevent escaping or simply to create more interesting escape route on role play server.
Protection penalties (increase jail sentence if player is not behaving well)
Guards that will kill player if he tries to escape
Data is stored in either SQLite or MySQL.
Supports multiple worlds
Jailing without commands via item
Supports escaping for role play servers.
Allows players to vote a player to be jailed

Plugin Stats
(you can opt-out from tracking in plugins/PluginMetrics/config.yml)

Hey, first a very nice Plugin i like it very much; second, do you see a posibility to use this together with the sentrys (from citizens), i mean that if a sentry (or a player with a special name) kills you that you get in prison.

I try to find a jail plugin compatible with Essentials and I want prisoners be able to talk by private message.

Hi,

is it possible to set up shorter or finer tuned periods for the time in jail? I would like to use this plugin for some kind of a hide & seek game. But one minute in jail is too long for this purpose.

i mean if i want create cells in the jail i can't set Name of cell, because multiverse Portals Blockade it.

i can port prisoners in jail but not in cells same issue with multiverse Portals

please fix that

Very fun and useful plugin. Great sucess on our server.

Two suggestions to improve it.
1. Notification to the jailer if all cells are occupied when jailing a new prisoner. As of now when the prison is full and you jail another one, the prisoner is teleported to the exitpoint and as soon as he moves he's attacked by guards.
2. Command to view jail history of a player. /jailhistory player - gives info on when, reason, how long and who jailed him. If we have a player that's been jailed ten times before it might be time to ban him instead...

I cannot figure out how to enable escaping for the life of me. When people escape it penalizes them and sends them back. Please help me.

I think there's an issue with beds. If a jailed person dies while in jail, he spawns to where he last slept. Could you make it so that the stored bed spawn location is wiped out when jailed, but then allow beds to set their spawn from that moment on? I have an elaborate escape route in my jail than can use beds as checkpoints. Thanks

It is a problem with your config, not plugin. Make new ticket and include config.
