1.4.6 version
Perfect for Christmas. It's a simple plugin that may find use even after the holidays are over. It allows you to name a gift, give it a description, and then sign your name on it with a "from" and "to" tag. You can also add colors. '&4Merry Christmas!' will show up as a red "Merry Christmas!". Also, I added the ability to change player head names, and book titles and authors.
Commands
- /tag add <lore message>
- /tag set lore <lore message>
- /tag set name <new name for item>
- /tag set title <new name for book>
- /tag set author <new author of book>
- /tag set head <name of player>
Permissions
- itemtagger.*
- have OP status
- if you can't use the command, or a user can't, find out what the plugin tells them. It should say something in the form of "you cannot do that because you lack the "xxxx" permission node." Just add whatever node the plugin tells you you need.

PermissionsEx is buggy and changes Bukkit's native behaviour. GroupManager does neither of these things.

Posted Jan 5, 2013Hey this is literally dead on what I need but unfortunately my server is running 1.4.6 beta. I'm assuming this is the reason why every time I enter any command it just gives me the message usage: /nbt. Am I missing something or does the plugin need to be updated. If it does need the update could you possibly update it to the latest beta for 1.4.6? Thanks for your time.

Posted Dec 21, 2012I haven't looked at the code for this plugin or anything, but are you using NMS for the NBT setting? I think Bukkit has a NBT api now, so you might want to look into that since this is simple lore and name setting
