ItemStay
Summary
ItemStay allows you to drop an item and make it so that the item that you dropped cannot be picked up by anyone and will not despawn! Items dropped by users will NOT be stacked with the ItemStay items like they do using similar plugins.

Commands
| Command | Function |

| /itemstay | Create a new display. The next item dropped will be put on display. |
| /itemstay list | Able to be used by anyone. Shows displays within 5 blocks of you. |
| /itemstay delete <ID> | Delete a display. Find the ID of a display through /itemstay list. |
| /itemstay respawn | Respawn every display. |
| /itemstay reload | Reload the configuration, reload the displays from file and respawn them. |
Permissions

| itemstay.create | /itemstay '/itemstay delete <ID>' for displays created by you. |

Plugin now cross-released at Spigot.
Compatibility
The plugin should be compatible with pretty much any version you might be running, including 1.7.x, Spigot 1.8, 1.8.8, etc.

Posted Oct 30, 2015For some reason, and no errors on console, aleatory players can get the items from itemstay on displays, and only this player can get, no others... but is aleatory...
You have idea what can be causing this?? Usin latest 1.5.5b

Posted Sep 30, 2015Hi, Would it be possible in any way to have an option to display the item infos (name + echants) when hovering on it? I'm currently using ItemStay with ChestIcon for ChestShop and it's really hard for players to figure out what are the enchants of displayed items. I'm open to any suggestion. Yep, they all have ItemStay in the name. It dosent make any sense to me though, because it only affects some users. Some users can literally run over all our itemstay "icons" and pick em up, while others cant. They dont have any other permissions or anything either. Theres no error or anything on console tho.

That's very interesting because I don't remember changing the method for preventing pick ups. If you have some of the picked up items, do they have 'ItemStay' display name?

Posted Jul 7, 2015For some reason, some people seem to be able to run over chestshops now and pick up the items, thats using your latest version that you released with bug fixes. Version 1.5.5 dosent do that for us at all, however, you can still dupe with that. Any idea why this might be happening?
As i mentioned, only some people seem to be able to do it, but they havent gotten any permissions that should allow that.

First post: that's because Itemstay doesn't have a good api (plugin interface) yet, but the Chesticon developer used it anyway. The solution is a better code on side of Chesticon or a proper api for other plugins to use, which is on the way!
Second: No, but you can respawn them, look at the config file.

- I can see theres still a tiny issue, but i think thats related to chestshops actually. When you use two signs as explained in my previous bug explanation, and you delete both signs in the same was as before, the items still stay. They are not duped tho! =)

@ObstTube I had the same problem you are having! Had to make a very small tweak to it to make it work right on some servers though! File is attached until developer can update himself! ItemStay 1.5.6 (dev build) http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/itemstay/tickets/16-all-items-removed/#c1
