ItemSlots
ItemSlots is a mod that allows the player to bet items in a slot machine. A machine is built using the steps below. The player places items they want to bet in the dispenser and pulls the lever. When the lever is activated the lamp flashes. If the player wins the payout is dropped at the player's feet. If the player loses the items are lost.
Build
To build a machine.
Ops and players with permission can build.
- Build the frame out of any material.
- Place dispenser and lever.
- Place a blank sign for default odds and payout.
- Or place a sign with custom odds on the second line, payout on third. Any blank lines will be filled with defaults
- Place redstone lamp.
Sign Setup
What the lines on the sign mean:
Line 1: Marker Line, this tells the plugin this sign is for a slot machine. Default [777]
Line 2: Odds, Percentile odds of winning
Line 3: Pay out, Winnings = pay out * wager
Activation
To use, right click lever.
Break Down
To break the machine down, break the lamp first.

- A sign must be placed on the machine defining the odds.
- If a blank sign is placed default odds and payout will be assigned.
- Place items are placed in the dispenser
- To destroy a machine break the redstone lamp first

Default: anyone can use a machine, build and destroy are op only.

Posted Sep 21, 2015We use ItemSlots all the time. Every time we re-build a spawn, and as you know if you have a server, this happens allot. We come up with different designs. go ahead and pm me the errors and crash report and i'll see what is goin on and fix it. also the odds are generated using a random number generator, the first number on the sign is the winning number or the number the generator has to equal to win the second number is the number that is the max for the generator if the number is 5 then the generator will only generate a number between 1 and 5.

Posted Oct 8, 2012does [odds] 1, 2 mean it has 50% of winning? i would like to get to know how the [odds] working in the coding. so i can input an [odds] that i want. Please let me know.
So far the new file is working and is very interesting. is there a limit of what item that i can bet on? so far i only tried oak wood plank and is working good.
edit1: it just crash the server. not sure what cause it to happen. I didn't change the item i bet nor the number. it just crash the server out of nowhere. i have the text document for the crash if you need it. let me know. it still crash randomly even when i only have this mod.

Posted Oct 6, 2012when you are making the machine you simply place everything except the redstone lamp once everything else is in place then put the redstone lamp last, it should send you a message saying the slot machine was created then anyone can use it. you have to be an op to create the machines for now until we get permissions set up.
