ItemModifier
Plugin Description:
This plugin allows you to modify the item that you hold in your hand. Isn't that self explanatory, but you can change the name and lore of any item, and you can restore it back to it's original state. If you have any comments, complaints, issues, or any sort of feed back just let me know.
Features:
- Modify the name of any item
- Modify the lore of any item
- Restore the item's name or lore
Config:
- You can edit the prefix in the configuration file. ("config.yml")
Set Up:
- Drag and drop jar into your plugins folder and restart/start your server up. BA BAM! You got the plugin.
Feedback
This is my very first official bukkit plugin, so I'd like to know how it went! Please leave some feedback, and let me know how you liked or didn't like this plugin. Thank you.
Tips:
- To make a name or lore more than one word.. use the underscore character.
Example:
/name ItemModifier_is_amazing!
TODO:
Fix permissions!

If you mean to set the actually ID of an item? With this plugin, no, this plugin is just simply RENAMING the item's Name or Lore.
Thank you for the feedback on that new command idea! I'll consider it, but it seems really unnecessary, because you could simply view the items current name by selecting it in your hotbar or to see the lore and the name, view the item in your inventory.
About that argument idea, which is the one where you can do /im name, well I wouldn't expect someone to have this plugin with another plugin that would do that exact same thing, which seems illogical.
@Maciej3210
No problem! I'll have it on by Saturday, May 2, 2015.

Posted Apr 25, 2015Is there a way to set the ID or DATA / META data values of an item?
What about information command that lists all of an items data?
Eg. /itemmodifier info
/lore is used in other plugins. /restore is used in other plugins.
Consider /im lore and /im restore instead?

You would use the underscore character.
Ex:
/name Lightning_Bolt /lore Power_Of_The_Gods
I'll edit my description now so there is no more confusion.. Thanks for the feedback!

Posted Apr 8, 2015Hello! How do I add spaces between the words used for setting the lore? It is only picking up the first word in a string.
