ItemLinker

Plugin Description:
This plugin allows anyone to enter [item] in their chat message to link the item they are holding in their hand. It uses JSON and hover events so that when other players hover over the tagged item it will show that items name/lore/enchants and all other information. Currently this plugin is not very chat friendly in terms of chat plugins, if you want specific support added for your chat plugin please post a message or ticket requesting support.

Config:

There is no config for this plugin.

Permissions:

There is no permissions for this plugin.

Set Up:

Drag and drop jar into your plugins folder and restart/start your server up. BOOM! Done.

Hi I tried to find a fix for my problem but I could not..

Also of about 5 different plugins I've tried this is the only one that actually links an item in chat.

Here's the error when I mouse hover the item though:

BUG!!!! When linking an item, it messes with how chat is setup.. ranks and layout of chat is back to default when a player links an item! PLEASE FIX!

Can you make it capatible with custom enchants??

Im using this plugin, and items with the custom enchants on says its invalid...please add support <3

Error in console when using [item]. Plugin also removed color from nicknames in chat when using [item]. Im using EssentialsX-Chat and PaperSpigot 1.8.8 if that might be an issue. http://pastebin.com/raw/CiqjNngz

Hello, great plugin in all but could you please make a slight adjustment so that it works for items over the max lvl? Say I have a diamond pickaxe with efficiency 7 and I do [item] it will just say invalid item. Please fix this as soon as possible and I will use this plugin once again.

Make it so you can use color in items becuase its keep saying invalid item becuase of the name...

Actually its not, as it only adds an arguably cosmetic perk, it doesn't create better gameplay for donors than it would for normal players. Either way, its the servers job to worry about the EULA, not the plugin creator.

i tried it at my server, players tried to write [item] while holding diffrent donators items and it didnt worked, it said invalid item, the donator items have their names with color codes, is this the problem?

Is there any ETA on how long it might take? I dunno how busy you are but i would love to have this plugin working for my server items.

Also, it might not be a bad idea to add a permission to it so that you have to have the permission to use [item]. I could see it being a nice donor perk.
