Player tags, Hashtags, and more for Minecraft!
Use this plugin to tag players quickly, and easily. Just do @playername to get their attention. You can even use shortened versions of a player's name and the plugin will automatically display their full name. The tags are a perfect way to get a player's attention in chat.
This plugin is also great for server admins/mods who deal with larger servers that require an easy way to get a member's attention. By typing @loth, you can quickly and easy tell lothlirial that he should stop spamming the chat. :P

Features
- Tag players in chat
- Tag players in signs
- Use colored hashtags
- Notify tagged players with a sound effect of your choosing!
- Send player a notification displaying the contents of the sign in which they were tagged (Can be disabled)

- Automatically checks for updates /itags update

Would there be a way for you to determine what the chat color was before you changed it? Because my donators have a different color from my normal users, would there be a way to change their color to their color while the normal users return to their color?

Posted Jan 10, 2014Can you make it so when you tag people on signs, it doesn't include you prefix (Like your PEX rank). That would be great if you could!

iTags is currently using &r which removes all color and text effects. It does not go back to the previous color.
When I get the chance, I will add an option in the config called "chat-color" which will allow you to choose your own color for it to return to.

Posted Jan 9, 2014When tagging and doing hashtag, the plugin makes the rest of the color for your message white.
This looks very weird, can you do &r instead of &f so it knows the color they normally chat with?

Posted Nov 26, 2013iTags with Herochat is acting kinda weird. Player with OP can tag people but other players can't even with correct permissions.
And second thing, can use '+' as a playerTag

The actual plugin says [iTags], but I guess it's not necessary. I don't mind removing it in the next version. It only says it when you get a sign tag message.

Posted Sep 23, 2013Can we change or remove the prefix [PlayerTags]?
I think it would be better without it. :P

I get upto 230 players on at once and with that the chance of rulingkyle1496 just being @r is very slim, it is just my playing style :D

Hmm i'll look into it and make it a config option. You do know you can just use the first few letters of a name with @<name>

Interesting. I think Herochat already has implementation of @tags for some purpose. I tried running Herochat and iTags alone on a Spigot server and my plugin worked (except for dotSlashCleaner). I was running the commands as OP and didn't test permissions. Also you said the only think that works is #hashtags, does this mean /ding doesn't work?
I'm working on a fix for the dotSlashCleaner.

Posted Jul 19, 2013The only thing that works on spigot + herochat seems to be #hashtags. Player tags and clean up ./ don't work at all for me :(.

I've noticed that on some servers cleanDotSlashes doesn't work and some it does. Hmmm. Might be interfering with other plugins. What other plugins are you using that involve chat?
