What is iSkin?

iSkin is a simple and elegant plug-in which enables the user to change skins, capes and titles in-game and fast. With iSkin you can have specific skins for entire permission groups which makes it rather useful for RPG servers.

iSkin is a simple and elegant plugin which allows users to select custom skins, capes and titles without having to go to minecraft.net. With iSkin you can change either, your own skin/cape/title, another players skin/cape/title and even an entire permission groups skin/cape/title.

Features:

Change skins, capes and titles in-game
Persistent skins, cape and titles across logouts and server restarts
Ability to reset a player to their default settings

Commands:

Permissions:

iskin.* = Access to all permissions
iskin.save = Force save changes
iskin.help = Display the help menu
iskin.reset = Reset a particular player
iskin.setplayer = Change your own or another players settings
iskin.setgroup = Change a groups settings

Only i see my skin and only that Player see his skin when using this. iSkin :True Story:. Can you fix it?

@Edit 1 : My english is fail. iSkin only make that player use it see,All player in server can't see his skin. Mean,His skin = Herobrine. All player see his skin = Steve. (My Spoutserver = Cracked)

Everything seems to be loading right we can use the commands to change our skins and i have set up the permission iskins.* for the groups i want to have it but said groups are only seeing a blank gui the background image shows up but there is nothing on it how do you populate the gui or should there be somthing else rather than just the background image?

ok iam server owner, so my owner group got permission node '*' and i know that permission works, it works for everything else, and iam op, iam using latest recomanded version of spoutcraft (1412), latest dev spoutplugin (1216), latest recomanded bukkit version (1.2.5-R4.0) and running latest iskin (4.2.0b)

When i try do /iskin setself (url) it just tell me "You must be a spout player to use this command", when i try click the gui buttons, nothing happens, and i can sure you i got permission as iam op!

please help me!

EDIT: got the gui working, and skins, but the cape dont seem to be working, typed in a url, actually 3 difrent cape urls, and then clicked search, and it found the cape img, but when i click select nothing happens, i go out from gui still nothing! please help me with the capes, what am i gonna do?

What do you mean "Only for Spout users?", I assume you're talking about how this plugin only works for them. Well that's because it is only possible with Spout, unless I replicate what Spout has already done, which would be re-inventing the wheel :P

I was debating whether or not I should add this, since the GUI is in place I personally don't see any use of it espeically when the commands are useless unless you're using Spoutcraft.

I'll create a poll to see what people think.

Added full support of capes

new design for GUI

Changed to release so people stop downloading v3.3

Ok I decided to update this to a release so people stop downloading the wrong version of iSkins :D

I have also updated all support for capes however I will not be adding cape commands and might remove the skin commands.

I also just spent nearly 2hours perfecting the GUI :D

And finally I also took some time to update the OP with the correct values of the permissions :P and also edited some of the text

Thanks to everyone for supporting this. This was my first plugin after all back in like August 2011 :D

Make sure you are using version 4.0.7b, I bet you're using version 3.3 and also incase you are make sure you have permission

pressing "L" doesn't do anything :/ Also, after rejoining to server it loses your skin

Ok, so you have to use a URL for capes unless you know of a large cape site like the minecraft.net? Also I need to add the persistence stuff to capes and also i'll increase the width/size of the text bars so URL can fit in them :D

Oh and when I re-log in the cape disappears. Would be good to make it permanent..
