Types of sails
Placing Sails
Exists 5 types of sails on my plugin they can be placed with wall signs "s" in the first line and type the key of sail in the second line :
- Square sail, key "s" Your making a squaresail by placing a sign with "s" in the first line and "s" in the second line at the mid block above the sail. May be on every mast, maximum is 5 on mast.
- Front sail, key "fr" Your making a frontsail by placing a sign with "s" in the first line and "fr" in the second line at the mid block above the sail. Exists without masts. It is first small square sail, maximum is 1 on ship.
- Triangle sail, key "t" Your making a trianglesail by placing a sign with "s" in the first line and "t" in the second line at the block under the front of the sail.
- Fore-and-aft sail, key "f" Your making a fore and aft sail by placing a sign with "s" in the first line and "f" in the second line at the grotmast under the sail. Its placed between two masts
- Rear sail, key "r" Your making a rearsail by placing a sign with "s" in the first line and "r" in the second line at the block under the front of the sail.
Setting up Takelage:
Every Sail needs left and right Takelage to get raised and lowered. Can be set at the railing of the ship by placing a sign with "lt" or "rt" in first line it has to be placed on the left and right depending on the direction the ship is moving. To make a sail you have to first activate the sailsign and then a left and right takelage. to raise the sail up right click on both takelages and to lower it left click on them.
