About IP Detection
IP Detection was a plugin I needed for my server to help catch ban evaders. Although this plugin can't stop ban evaders it simply notifies any system administrator with the proper permissions, that this player MAY be ban evading. Of course there are siblings who play on the same IP, but this is a plugin use as a precaution. This plugin displays the players last logged in IP, what other players have used that same IP, and their last login. Along with using the /seen function in Essentials it should be easy to see if players are ban evading!
Commands
/ip <player> - This shows the players current IP Address
/ip info <player> - This shows in depth information about the player. E.G: Ip, Last logged in IP, players with same IP, Last Login.
/ip purge - Purges all IP Data only if EnablePurging is set to true in the config
Permissions
ipdetection.use - Gives access to all /ip command
ipdetection.alerts - Lets players with this permission view the Login message of players IP's
Installation
Simply: Drag, Drop, Reload / Restart!

Oh, I never actually casted the ConsoleCommandSender to the player, so yeah that wouldn't work in any build, but when I get to updating it soon I'll add that in!

I still actively contribute to the development of this plugin. However, I haven't updated it because in the original development, it was suppose to work across all bukkit version unless they slaughtered the API. I'll look into this ASAP!

Whoops, sorry I haven't checked this in a while, I'm honestly... not sure. It should, there wasn't any major API change that should have broken it.... you can test it out, if it doesn't work, I can fix it ASAP.

IP Purge cleans the IP database stored in the IP Detection folder. If you do purge all of the IPs then the plugin will remove all associated accounts with the same IP and the file will be cleared. I probably know why you're not getting notifications, but I can't update the plugin at the moment I'm super busy with school but I'll look into it when the weekend comes along.

Posted Aug 27, 2013Literally amazing, in comparison to other IP detection plugins this is by far the best, simplest and it gets the job done.
Keep up the good work, also I don't really understand the IP purge option, plus I've got the alerts permission but I'm not getting any notifications (tested with a few friends already).
