Backpacks

Backpacks: - More Carrying space with backpacks
Current Version: alpha 0.1

At times one inventory simply isn't enough, and realistically I believe that Minecraft players deserve the occasional inventory expansion. Backpacks is a plugin designed to add additional inventories to Minecraft known as backpacks. They come in three sizes; small, medium, and large (9,18, and 27 slots) and are earned over time simply by breaking blocks. The basic mechanical flow begins with a player exploring his or her world. When they break their tenth block, and every power of ten following it, they receive a notification that they've been rewarded with an inventory. To claim this reward, the player uses the bkpcreate command to use their reward and create an inventory for themselves. At any point from then on, they can access their extra space with the bkpopen command. It's that simple.

But there's more! In addition to having extra space, Backpacks provides tools for utilizing this space to make organization a simple matter through routing. Using the bkproute command, players can specify that certain items should be put in a backpack upon pickup rather than their main inventory. From that point on, any items of that type will be put in the specified backpack if there is space.

The current release is my first release of the project. There's still a lot to do before this becomes fully usable. For example, the plugin currently lacks a means of persistent data storage, so all backpacks are destroyed when the server is reset. Not cool for any useful design. All the same, the current release can be downloaded here:
