Infernal Mobs

Features:
Mobs will randomly become "infernal", then they will become mini bosses. They get a random amount of random powers, a name tag proclaiming them "infernal", and when they die they will drop random enchanted loot. I saw this mod for Forge made by Atomic Stryker, and thought I would make a version for Bukkit. Most aspects of this mod are configurable.
NOTE: For 1.12.2 and older use version: 5.4, build 5.6 and up are 1.13+

Divining Rod:
The divining rod can be used when you are near an infernal mob.
It will take a blaze powder, then point you in the direction of the nearest mob. It will show you a line of particles pointed at the mob.
This rod only works if you are near one of the mobs.

Powers:
- Poisonous: Gives player the poison effect.
- Armoured: Give mobs full diamond armour or a resistance effect.
- Blinding: Gives player the blindness effect.
- Withering: Gives player the withering effect.
- Tosser: Tosses the player around.
- Thief: Steals the item the player is holding.
- Quicksand: Gives player the slowness effect.
- Bullwark: Takes less damage.
- Rust: Damages the tool the player is holding.
- Sapper: Gives player the hunger effect.
- 1up: Has 2 lives.
- Cloaked: Is invisible.
- Ender: Can teleport.
- Ghastly: Shoots fireballs.
- Lifesteal: Gets health from damaging player.
- Sprint: Can go fast.
- Storm: Strikes the player with lightning.
- Webber: Makes a web at the players feet.
- Vengeance: Gives damage from being hit.
- Weakness: Gives player the weakness effect.
- Berserk: Damages the player more, but takes damage from attacking.
- Explode: Explodes on death.
- Potions: Throws harmful potions at the player.
- Mama: Has a slim chance to spawn three babies of its type.
- Molten: Is immune to fire/lava, starts a fire on death and lights the player on fie.
- Archer: Randomly shoots a volley of arrows at player.
- Necromancer: Shoots wither skulls.
- Firework: Fireworks explode from mob when hit.
- Gravity: Levitates the player for a while.
- Flying: Mob can fly.
- Mounted: Riding on another mob.
- Morph: Can infrequently morph into another infernal mob.
- Ghost: On death a ghost is spawned.
- Confusing: Gives player the confusion effect.

Incompatibilities:
There have been instances of incompatibilities with other plugins, any plugin that changes mob names or messes with mob spawning may cause some problems. While they may not be game-braking you may see some weird things and some features might not work.
Known incompatible plugins:
- MobArena v0.96.6
- Any plugin (like MCMMO) that uses score-boards may cause lag when combined with IM (if you have IM score-boards enabled).

Have enableFarmingDrops set to true and infernal mobs should not spawn from spawners.

Posted Mar 10, 2014Seems like "mounted" doesn't work...tryed every mount and every rider....nothing...sometimes server would lock it self till mounted is set to false... Also would be awesome to hook with mysticdrops so IM could use random item tier generator from MD

64 is just a leftover, from before, the max is 128 now.
If you specify any mobs the drops will only drop for them. Leave it plank and it will drop for all.

what is the 64 count ?
the pastebin has 74 items in it, I have all of them loaded in to my config plus the default 4 that were commented out so 78 items in all ... the config loads fine , what happens to the extras ? or is this a limit to how many items one mob can drop and if that is the case where is the config for how many items randomly drop from any 1 mob..
Also do I need to set the mobs: - Skeleton for the items to drop or does that just set that item specificly to only drop from that mob and the rest will random for any kill?
Other than that it seems to be working nicely on my server. Thanks

Posted Mar 8, 2014What is the syntax for drops? I want to make mobs with 1-2 power drop 5 gold and 2-3 drop 10 gold. I'm just wondering because nothing is working. Also, is there a -all for mobs?

Posted Mar 8, 2014The example for making it spawn from certain mobs only doesn't work. I can't get any entry using it to drop even with im getloot. I removed the mobs: -mobname part and it worked fine. i think the syntax is wrong maybe. please advise.

This is for 1.7 and supports only Bukkit, It works fine on Spigot but IDK about MCPC+.

Posted Mar 7, 2014I'm having a small issue using this plugin on a 1.7.2 server. When I enabled this plugin for my worlds I only get baby zombie and pigmen spawns. I removed all plugins to see if there were any incompatibilities but I still only get baby spawns.

For example: You defined Damage_All = Sharpness. A list would be very nice. Perhaps it could be listed right below "Loot" in the config as notes to help the people who want to define their own loot.

2 possible options for loot stuff
1: Instead of defining the powersMin + powersMax for drop you could just add a percantage drop chance. The main reason is because people can simply make mob grinders and will get the loot as soon as 1 ob appears.
2: A way to randomly set the damage of a weapon in a defined range in the config
For example: Players can get excalibur from a zombie and if they are lucky it will have better base damage than the usual iron sword. This way you could have a really special item/weapon, that nobody else has.
Could look something like this in the config:

durability: 80

- Zombie
powersMin: 3
powersMax: 7
chance: 80 #20% drop chance
damageMin: 6 #lowest base damage for the iron sword (normal value)
