Infernal Mobs

Features:
Mobs will randomly become "infernal", then they will become mini bosses. They get a random amount of random powers, a name tag proclaiming them "infernal", and when they die they will drop random enchanted loot. I saw this mod for Forge made by Atomic Stryker, and thought I would make a version for Bukkit. Most aspects of this mod are configurable.
NOTE: For 1.12.2 and older use version: 5.4, build 5.6 and up are 1.13+

Divining Rod:
The divining rod can be used when you are near an infernal mob.
It will take a blaze powder, then point you in the direction of the nearest mob. It will show you a line of particles pointed at the mob.
This rod only works if you are near one of the mobs.

Powers:
- Poisonous: Gives player the poison effect.
- Armoured: Give mobs full diamond armour or a resistance effect.
- Blinding: Gives player the blindness effect.
- Withering: Gives player the withering effect.
- Tosser: Tosses the player around.
- Thief: Steals the item the player is holding.
- Quicksand: Gives player the slowness effect.
- Bullwark: Takes less damage.
- Rust: Damages the tool the player is holding.
- Sapper: Gives player the hunger effect.
- 1up: Has 2 lives.
- Cloaked: Is invisible.
- Ender: Can teleport.
- Ghastly: Shoots fireballs.
- Lifesteal: Gets health from damaging player.
- Sprint: Can go fast.
- Storm: Strikes the player with lightning.
- Webber: Makes a web at the players feet.
- Vengeance: Gives damage from being hit.
- Weakness: Gives player the weakness effect.
- Berserk: Damages the player more, but takes damage from attacking.
- Explode: Explodes on death.
- Potions: Throws harmful potions at the player.
- Mama: Has a slim chance to spawn three babies of its type.
- Molten: Is immune to fire/lava, starts a fire on death and lights the player on fie.
- Archer: Randomly shoots a volley of arrows at player.
- Necromancer: Shoots wither skulls.
- Firework: Fireworks explode from mob when hit.
- Gravity: Levitates the player for a while.
- Flying: Mob can fly.
- Mounted: Riding on another mob.
- Morph: Can infrequently morph into another infernal mob.
- Ghost: On death a ghost is spawned.
- Confusing: Gives player the confusion effect.

Incompatibilities:
There have been instances of incompatibilities with other plugins, any plugin that changes mob names or messes with mob spawning may cause some problems. While they may not be game-braking you may see some weird things and some features might not work.
Known incompatible plugins:
- MobArena v0.96.6
- Any plugin (like MCMMO) that uses score-boards may cause lag when combined with IM (if you have IM score-boards enabled).

You mean like a power for the boss? Right now its only when the boss hits you, but an effect aura would be a good power to add.

Like zombies are always spawned as lvl 1
Slimes are alwayes spawned at lvl 10
and so on..?

No, the damage values should not change anything, you can edit the effects in the loot.yml

So far I've found the Invisibility Cloak charm, shows up as purple&black (ID = 402:1). But I can't seem to find where you can modify the charms effects so I can disable Infernal Mobs from handling them and re-make a few via Skript. Also still wondering, does this plugin look for Lore or Damage values before applying effects?
Since 1.8 breaks textures of items with invalid damage values, I wrote a skript that periodically checks a players held item and sets the items durability to 0 if it's a purple & black cube. I want to use this method to "fix" existing charms, but am not sure if changing their damage value will break their functionality.

Yes, the purple cube thing is caused by invalid durability values. If you find any please post them here so I can fix them.

Posted Feb 24, 2015Since 1.8, blocks with invalid damage values show up as the purple & black cube. because of this, some of the pre-configured loots now have the purple & black cube for their texture. I was wondering if the effects from the charms check the damage value of the item held or does it check the lore of the item held. If it checks lore, I will just change durability of everything to 0 in the loot.yml
Also is it possible to edit the effects of the charms? Thanks.

I have a little problem again: I cant seem to make 2 Items give the same effect, for example I created another water charm like item, but once I added the number to the potion list, the old water charm didnt work anymore, only the new one. You know why this could happen? I have created a lot of items, mostly armor and weapons, but i'd love to create more items like the rabbit paw etc!

Whoops, forgot I made that comment.
No, it has not been deleted ever, since you added that feature to save mobs and locations.
Now, in the past, I believe there has been an instance where I updated the plugin but it turned out to have an issue, so I went back to previous working version. If that isn't a possible cause (mobs that had spawned in that version being ones that are now vanishing), only other thing I can think of would be maybe a change of mob abilities that were disabled in the config at a later date? I guess I could always try manually spawning in one with config-disable abilities, and then leave so the chunks unload. Other than that, I'm not sure...
Also, your links in the magic part for the Projectiles config additions that need to be added, are broken.

Well, my essentials is configured to protect regions to all means of damage, including lava flow, water flow, fireballs, tnt, nukes, wither,... (But I'll recheck that again today, thanks for the hint.) I've tested this for 2 weeks now, and I still get spawned infernals that destroy whole buildings. I disabled "archer" for now (Saturday), and until today, I had to do no more "op-repair". But that doesn't mean anything, since the spawn rate is set to "pretty low" (200).
Could it be becaue I use the version for 1.7.10? But then again, I'll first check my essentials config to be 100% sure.

Are you sure this is not cause by a removal of the save.yml? Did you ever delete or erase it for any reason before?

Disable fireball explosions in those areas?
The reason why your still getting fireball guys is probably because they where allredy spawned.
Just delete the save.yml and restart to remove all current infernals.
