Infernal Mobs

Features:
Mobs will randomly become "infernal", then they will become mini bosses. They get a random amount of random powers, a name tag proclaiming them "infernal", and when they die they will drop random enchanted loot. I saw this mod for Forge made by Atomic Stryker, and thought I would make a version for Bukkit. Most aspects of this mod are configurable.
NOTE: For 1.12.2 and older use version: 5.4, build 5.6 and up are 1.13+

Divining Rod:
The divining rod can be used when you are near an infernal mob.
It will take a blaze powder, then point you in the direction of the nearest mob. It will show you a line of particles pointed at the mob.
This rod only works if you are near one of the mobs.

Powers:
- Poisonous: Gives player the poison effect.
- Armoured: Give mobs full diamond armour or a resistance effect.
- Blinding: Gives player the blindness effect.
- Withering: Gives player the withering effect.
- Tosser: Tosses the player around.
- Thief: Steals the item the player is holding.
- Quicksand: Gives player the slowness effect.
- Bullwark: Takes less damage.
- Rust: Damages the tool the player is holding.
- Sapper: Gives player the hunger effect.
- 1up: Has 2 lives.
- Cloaked: Is invisible.
- Ender: Can teleport.
- Ghastly: Shoots fireballs.
- Lifesteal: Gets health from damaging player.
- Sprint: Can go fast.
- Storm: Strikes the player with lightning.
- Webber: Makes a web at the players feet.
- Vengeance: Gives damage from being hit.
- Weakness: Gives player the weakness effect.
- Berserk: Damages the player more, but takes damage from attacking.
- Explode: Explodes on death.
- Potions: Throws harmful potions at the player.
- Mama: Has a slim chance to spawn three babies of its type.
- Molten: Is immune to fire/lava, starts a fire on death and lights the player on fie.
- Archer: Randomly shoots a volley of arrows at player.
- Necromancer: Shoots wither skulls.
- Firework: Fireworks explode from mob when hit.
- Gravity: Levitates the player for a while.
- Flying: Mob can fly.
- Mounted: Riding on another mob.
- Morph: Can infrequently morph into another infernal mob.
- Ghost: On death a ghost is spawned.
- Confusing: Gives player the confusion effect.

Incompatibilities:
There have been instances of incompatibilities with other plugins, any plugin that changes mob names or messes with mob spawning may cause some problems. While they may not be game-braking you may see some weird things and some features might not work.
Known incompatible plugins:
- MobArena v0.96.6
- Any plugin (like MCMMO) that uses score-boards may cause lag when combined with IM (if you have IM score-boards enabled).

Posted Feb 15, 2015I have a somewhat unpleasent problem on my server; Infernal mobs are able to destroy blocks in protected areas (essential-regions, worldguard), which leads to heavy damage on buildings of players (And the spawn area). The damage is done by mobs shooting fireballs, so in the config, I disabled the effects ghastly, explode and molten already, but I still get Infernals from time to time that do massive damage to protected areas. (With fireballs)
What do I need to disable/change in Order to have this problem solved?

Posted Feb 12, 2015Had 4 others report that same issue Wrecktify80 made. IMs who are Infernals, and will then suddenly cease to be, yet their nametag remains. Perhaps it has something to do with the mod save file getting too large? Our's has grown to 3.85MB, which I wouldn't think is too large for a database flatfile, but it's always possible I guess *shrug*
Also there are reports of the magic staves and some charms not working properly, but I haven't yet made certain that it isn't my fault from appending the new items to the loot file, and not getting their Effects linked to the right Loot ID. Does IM make flag checks against WorldGuard? WG6 has really made some things a little screwy and the latest dev versions have almost appeared to have tried to counter some of the derpage caused. At any rate, what I'm getting at is on another plugin I noticed that some of it's effects or visual effects wouldn't trigger if the region wasn't specifically defined with pvp ALLOW. global for example, while allows PVP by default, was not being read as PVP actually being enabled by the plugin in question. Yet in a fight arena where PVP is set, it did produce the intended visual effects. Once I added it to global things functioned. Granted, I suppose that could be a coding error on his part (said plugin's), but I really have no way of knowing :P
Rambling aside, just wanted to make it known that his isn't a unique case it seems.

Its the radius, if the player is within that radius then they will get the MSG.
But the death ones should display fine, maybe you killed it with something that did not set the player as the killer.

Posted Feb 10, 2015Hey, I have a little problem: Sometimes, the plugin doesnt announce when a mob is spawned, even though I set it to true. Same with the kill messages, they dont always trigger.. Anyone know why this could happen? :/

My world name is "world" and the 25 chance thing did nothing. Would anything in Essentials cause the problem?

Make sure enabledworlds: contains your word, and lower chance from 100 to maybe 25.

Yes, but also set chance to 25, or some value less than 200, with 200 they will be very rare.

You can, but if you do you also need to remove the potion effects that use those loots.
