Infected
Features:
This plugin allows you to customize the mobs on your server and in your worlds like YOU want! You can add tons of things to their attacks and soon you'll can do even more. At the moment you have a decent choise of effects, which you can give to the mobs you want. You can also add multiple effects to a single mob if you want and you can also choose how often the effect should occure, be enabled and in which world. It is also possible to set a message when you got 'infected' and 'cured'. This plugin is lightweight, highly-configurable and up²date.

| nausea | Visual effect (a bit like the portal ones) |
| hunger | The player is hungry (decrease food-bar) |
| slow | The player is slower (wow!) |
| blind | The player can only see a few blocks far |
| poison | The player becomes poisoned |
| burn | The player burns! |
| lifesteal | Giving the enemy health back |
| critical hit | Dealing an amount of damage YOU want. |
| damage | Deal additional damage |
| reflect | Reflecting the damage to the player |
Planned features
- Use commands to change effects ingame without reloading
- Add velocity/speed of a mob
Permissions

Installation
If you want to use a newer version than yours, please check the config-page for changes first! Place the Infected.jar in plugins folder. Now customize and configure the plugin! You can find a instruction how to edit the config.yml here! Please dont forget that :P

Posted Jun 24, 2012Would it be possible to have an item that can be applied to another player or used by the player themselves to alleviate the infection?
So I could have a zombie infect a player with perpetual poison until they seek aid or find the cure themselves. (Similar to the bandage plugin here: LINK)
Also, a bit outside the realm of possibility, if a player could pass on his condition with a % chance of infecting other players. Potentially causing a pandemic on the server. >=)

[SEVERE] Could not pass event EntityDamageByEntityEvent to Infected
Didn't cause any problem yet, is because there is something wrong about critical hit coding?

Posted Jun 24, 2012I have 3 different effects set up on skeleton, each at 35% but i notice that when it hit me all 3 effects occurred, several times ??. Is it possible to limit to just one effect per hit ?

Hey I'm ganna make a video demonstrating this plugin, how it works, and how to install it. Is it ok when its up maybe you can add it to your post above about the infected plugin? It can really help out people that are having issues installing it and teach them the commands. :)

maybe it's my problem, but i think you better take a second check(sorry to tell you this)
i think the message even cause some of effect stop working.(just maybe)

Still didn't work with that two single quotation marks .
Besides, every time i open my server, those two single quotation marks just disappear from config file, like i never type in.

Posted Jun 21, 2012Seems like blind don't have visual affect(only happened to me in the server,i'm OP)
I did get the affect when i got hit by mobs, but visual affect (dark around) just didn't happened.
Any idea?
