This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of Minecraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

NOTE: This plugin is in development. Not all features are added and not all bugs are fixed. Feedback is welcome :)

This plugin is very simple. It allows server admins to allow any player that has logged on to feel special. When a player is allowed in the config or have the proper permissions, they are struck by lightning when they log in.

Uses

- being bored and wanting to look cool

- make people think highly of you

- kill people on login (griefers?)

- make a giant ruckus of lightning

i've been working on it, and it seems like its going to be difficult, as to my knowledge, the fire is client-side when lightning strikes.

Ok guys, just going to say, thanks for almost 400 downloads, and 1.4.1 should work with 1.3.1 builds of bukkit

Ugh, stupid fire bug...- Something I learned that may cause a problem is when lightning strikes, even if there is no fire, the client renders it... if you guys find any other bugs or errors, please submit a ticket.

ya, we were aware of the fire issue, but the config does not generate? what version are you using and does it return errors? also we did not specifically add anything for worldguard, as our plugin does not use the smite command, but yes i have been working on the fire disabling, it's harder than i thought :P well thank you for your input and information, it will be very helpful! also, i'm not doing the permissions, so you should probably talk to lenis :)

Is this PermissionsEx enabled? Also it might be a good idea to autogenerate a default config so people dont have to start with a blank file, a bit less confusing that way. Also give yourself some credit, yours is better than the guys that hasn't even updated it since December :P

Also, lightning sets me on fire, which starts hurting me after I move from where I spawned in. I have firespread turned off(but it is allowed to exist in the block it was created on)

EDIT: Disabling lightning fire in worldguard makes the /smite command not start fire, but your lightning still sets fire.

This plugin hits the player(s) in the config with lightning on login... I will be trying to add new features but I have alot on my to-do list right now so it may be a bit slow... It is my first plugin so it isn't the greatest plugin ever...
