IgnoreYou
IgnoreYou
IgnoreYou allows players to ignore other players quickly and easily.
Usage
/Ignore [Player], makes it so that you can no longer hear what they say.
/Unignore [Player]. allows you to listen what the player says again.
/IgnoreList, lists the players you have ignored.
/IgnoreList [Player], list the players the player has ignored.
Permissions
- ignoreyou.use (Allows players to use /Ignore and /IgnoreList, should be by default)
- ignoreyou.bypass (Player with this can not be ignored)
- ignoreyou.admin (Allows players to use /IgnoreList [Player])
To do
- Add support for /Tell command

Posted Apr 16, 2014Probably something you've already taken into consideration, but if ignoring by wildcard or "all" the plugin should make sure /IgnoreList doesn't then reveal hidden players. Maybe just check against Player.canSee when adding players to the ignore list, and the issue is avoided.

Posted Mar 21, 2014Hi, is there a way you can post the sourcecode of this project or help with this quick code edit?
I am looking to this plugin because griefprevention overwrites the ignore command and the functionality is broken. The griefprevention writers are notorious for overwriting commands and otherwise not playing nice with other plugins, and they seem to ignore calls to fix this. Therefore, "ignore" that comes from essentials is broken by installing grief prevention.
What I am looking for is a simple replacement to ignore, but just need to rename the command to /ignoreyou.ignore or something similar so it can tie into existing mods. Would this be possible?

Those are often running through other plugins and it would be a pain to add support for all the plugins that people use.
I suppose for tell I can cancel the command if it is sent to someone that is ignoring them.
/Me is something I probably won't ever add support for I am afraid.

Just make sure you have ignoreyou.admin or it won't work. /Ignorelist [Player]
Normal /Ignorelist will still work for all players as well.

Something like /Ignorelist which gives you a full list of ignored people would be nice.
Maybe something for you to do? :)
