When a player begins controlling someone else, they essentially override all of their target's game input in real-time. Controllers can chat as their target, modify their target's inventory, and more! Plus, thanks to iCU's use of player disguises, the controller appears as their target to everyone else online - spoofing player movements. iControlU is incredibly fun and easy to use, enabling every server admin to troll at the next level!
iControlU is extremely easy to use and requires absolutely no setup or configuration. To begin, run the command /icu control (player). You will immediately begin overriding your target's chats, movements, and inventory, while they watch helplessly behind you. Meanwhile, you yourself are hidden from other players, so your actions are completely unnoticed. Feel free to impersonate them in chat, grief or modify their house, change their inventory, and more! When you're finished with your trickery, simply run /icu stop to exit Control Mode and return your target to normal.

What is it?

Commands

Posted Jul 19, 2013This plugin looks awesome! The fact that a single person can control other players is cool. Not only is it good for trolling, but administrative purposes as well because an Admin can just drop into a players view and check how they are mining etc.

Just an update, I've taken some suggestions and am implementing them in iControlU 1.4! I made the chat function a lot better (no more commas!), added a few small tweaks, and made the help page just a slight bit different. I'll have that update out in a few days!

sephkurai is right. you want to ADD the permission "-icu.exempt". The - infront of it tells the permissions plugin to remove it from the user.

In your permissions folder find their user. IDK what permissions your server uses but basically you want them, specificly to have icu.except removed, which is usually done by adding a - in front of the permission

No, just be sure to get in admin chat before you begin controlling. Because when you control someone, you can only use /icu stop. Everything you say will "come out your victim's mouth". No, you can't talk in one channel while controlling, sorry :/
But there isnt anything DISABLED in 1.3.5, so it should work as normal :)

Posted May 12, 2013i see you released 1.3.5 ... sometimes we use the plugin like this. first we do /a to get in admin chat. then we /icu control the player , and then when we talk in adminchat, they talk in public chat, and we can get them to say anything we want :D
will this be disabled in 1.3.5?

not at the moment - I just released 1.3.5 which actually stops all commands other than ICU commands. Possibly in the future it will support warping but not at the moment.

aaah I understand :)
Well in 1.3, you are 'teleported' to the target. That means that you both move in the exact same spot harmoniously. You basically play as them. Another thing, both the controller and the target cannot be hurt while they're controlling / being controlled.

Sorry for the delay in response...
What I meant is, if your player also moves when you're controlling another player, then you would need to block your player into a small area to prevent you from walking off a cliff or into lava while controlling another player. That's why I asked if your player was frozen while controlling another.
