Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

- If you have a question, or find a bug, first check the FAQ. I will try to include as many helpful questions and answers as possible.

Posted Jan 3, 2013I love this plugin, it's the centerpiece of our server and we have been using it since you first released it. We would love to be able to trade enchanted books though (the real enchanted ones, not the generic unenchanted one that you get if you just input item 403 into the item list), I've heard that at least one sign shop plugin has been able to do it so maybe it's possible for HyperConomy as well? Here's a link I found that you may find helpful: http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/how-to-handle-enchanted-books.117526/

In all the NoLagg profiling tests i make, this plugin is always over 1000ms which is kind of insane. I don't know whats in this plugin causing it but there must be something.

Thanks.
To make items that can only be bought or sold the easiest way is to enable per-shop permissions. Here's how from the FAQ:
How do I make buy/sell only items or admin shops?
In your config.yml file, first set "use-shop-permissions" to true. This will require all players, except admins, to have the proper permissions to use each shop.
hyperconomy.shop.* will give permission to use all shops.
hyperconomy.shop.[name of shop] will give all permissions for the specified shop
hyperconomy.shop.[name of shop].buy will give buy permissions for the specified shop
hyperconomy.shop.[name of shop].sell will give sell permissions for the specified shop
So essentially, you could have one shop for selling, and another for buying, or something like that. You'd just need to remove items you don't want to sell or buy from each shop.
Since the plugin uses dynamic pricing, if you want to directly set the price of an item you'll have to use static pricing. You can set all prices to static with /setstaticall or individually with /setstatic. I'm not sure I understand your second question. Feel free to elaborate if this doesn't explain things well. At first all items use initial pricing, which can be set with /setstartprice.

Posted Jan 1, 2013Some of my players are reporting HC not removing sold items from their inventory.
Specifically, I was able to sell a bunch of stuff okay, I then got to Diamond Swords of which I had 20 normal ones, and 1 enchanted one in my inventory. When I used /sell DiamondSword 20, it would give me to money for 20, but not remove any from inventory. If I had one of the 20 selected(in my hand), it would remove ONLY that sword, but pay me for all 20. This is plugin breaking. There are no error logs.
Running your dev build #85 and latest beta CB.
