Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

New Features, Bugs, Problems, etc.
- If you have a question, or find a bug, first check the FAQ. I will try to include as many helpful questions and answers as possible.
- If the FAQ doesn't help, don't hesitate to post your question or make a ticket.
- If you do find a bug, please include which version of HyperConomy you're using, the full error message or stack trace (if there is one), the version and type of Minecraft server you're running, and an explanation of how to reproduce the bug or what causes the bug.

Posted Jan 1, 2013Hey ! First of all, great work, nice plugin.
So I was using GiantShop, but it hasn't been updated for 3 months now. I was looking for another general shop plugin, and I saw yours. I was really glad at first, really cool and interesting to configure.
I would like to make a general shop (so only by commands), and control which items can be buy (easy to configure) and sell. Is there a way to allow the purchase of an item, and denied the sell ? And is there a way to choose the sell price by ourselves for a single item ? Because in the item.yml, we can only chose a static price, and in the config.yml, a general statictax. And on our server, most of the items are sold at 1/4 of the purchase price, but for some others, the sell price is different from this quarter, and for others, it's impossible to sell.
Hope I'm clear. And once again, if you've already answered to this question, I'm sorry !
Happy new year !
Regards,
Sanguynius.

There is virtually zero chance that HyperConomy can affect your frame rate. A "shop" isn't anything special; it's not really even anything. Being in a shop involves comparing your coordinates with the shop's coordinates. A shop isn't some big complex entity that can affect your frame rate.
If you really have hundreds of signs in your shop, that's what is affecting your frame rate. Minecraft signs are known to be one of the most lag inducing things in the game. This has nothing to do with HyperConomy though. It has to do with how Minecraft renders the sign faces. It would be the same if you placed hundreds of blank signs at your spawn.

Posted Dec 31, 2012@RegalOwl:
The plugin is working fine on our server except the Info Signs for the prices. That works great but after a while the Info Signs stop updating the prices.
I'm experiencing this with dynamic prices and this sign format : Diamond
S:$XX B=$XX
No erros, logs are perfects.
Thanks !

Posted Dec 30, 2012Hi i have made a shop at my server with almost all items and signs to each of them.
Now its incredible leggy at spawn, nowhere else. The frame rate drops to 12-13 at the shop.
I have the sign update to 40 or so. So dont see why its should be laggy

There are no errors in the console on startup or errors in the HyperConomy/errors folder?

Can you turn on error-logging in your config.yml? There is very likely an error unless your items.yml is somehow blank. Is there anything in it? If not check and see if you have a backup in the HyperConomy/backups folder.
