Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

Since updating to Bukkit Beta 1.4.6-R0.1. We were previously using 1.4.5-R1.0. We are in YML mode.
I've tried restarting multiple times. I suppose the next step is creating a new items.yml but that is definitely a tedious chore as we've continuously been using hypercon since August.

What do you mean by "since updating to bukkit"? What were you using previously? When was the plugin last working? Are you using SQL or YML mode?
That message means exactly what it says. Either your server didn't load properly (/reload?), your items.yml file is corrupt, or your hyperobjects table was wiped. Try restarting your server first.

Posted Dec 27, 2012Running the latest bukkit + hypercon 0.957. No one (including OP admins) can sell/buy/do anything with the plugin. Every time you try to buy/sell, it says "Invalid item name!" When I try to /ai , it says "Sorry, that item or enchantment is not in the database." Seems that since updating to bukkit, nothing in the plugin works.

The easiest way to do what your want is to first remove all items from your shop(s). After that, you can add back in just the items that you want.
To make a food shop you could just add the food category to your shop with /addcategory food [shop name].
You could also just add each item individually with /additem [name] [shop] or /ai [name] [shop]
The food category is currently missing a few of the newer food items such as pumpkin pie. I'll add them soon hopefully. For now you could just add them manually or adjust the categories.yml file. You can make your own categories or edit the predefined ones.
The predefined categories are: ores, wools, mobeggs, disks, potions, enchantments, hugemushrooms, food, wood, organic, tools, blocks, unobtainable, experience, dyes, redstone, armor, rail, other, rare, crafteditems, and brewing.

My guess is it's another plugin conflict. I'd need more info to figure it out. Did you try just checking the price of those items with /hv or /value? Are they not the same?

I don't think it can be changed currently. I'll add it to the language file soon so that it can be customized.

To remove an item from a shop just do either /removeitem [name] [shop] or /ri [name] [shop]. This will prevent that item from being traded at the specific shop. You can also remove entire categories of items with /removecategory

Nope, they shouldn't be added automatically. For YML mode you'll have to copy and paste them into your items.yml file and for SQL mode you'll have to import them from your YML file.

When we update to a new Hyperconomy, and there are new items. They won't be added to our economy right? Because our prices are way different the default. Just want to be sure ^-^
