Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

New Features, Bugs, Problems, etc.
- If you have a question, or find a bug, first check the FAQ. I will try to include as many helpful questions and answers as possible.

- If you do find a bug, please include which version of HyperConomy you're using, the full error message or stack trace (if there is one), the version and type of Minecraft server you're running, and an explanation of how to reproduce the bug or what causes the bug.

That error makes it look like you have a corrupt history.yml. You could back it up and try deleting it and see if that helps.

Posted Oct 4, 2012@RegalOwl Sorry for the very slow reply. I'm using the latest build, and have far too many plugins to list, we have pretty much every single major plugin except Factions, and Survival Games. On another note, i have an error log for you: http://pastie.org/4909967

If initiation is set to true you will need to edit the startprice for the item's price to change. If static is set to true you will need to edit the item's staticprice. And finally if both initiation and static are set to false you will need to change the item's value since the item is in dynamic pricing mode. The value will usually not be equal to the actual price, however, since the price is calculated dynamically based on the stock. The price will be equal to the value (ignoring tax), when the stock is equal to the median value.
I'm guessing for your situation you'll just need to edit the startprice, however.

Posted Oct 2, 2012Whenever I /lockshop, and edit anything in the items.yml file, /reloadfiles, and finally /lockshop again, when i do /value ITEM, it is still the same price as it started. When I go into the items.yml, the prices I set are all what I wrote in manually. The in-game prices never match the prices in the items.yml. Am I doing something wrong?

What version of craftbukkit are you using? Also, what plugins are running on your server?

Posted Sep 29, 2012@RegalOwl Nope, i don't think i quite explained it XD This is a permanent thing, just using my shop reproduces it, it's actually impossible to sell or buy to the shop now, a good 10 restarts have been done since it appeared. It happened out of the blue, i hadn't added any other plugins for a few days, and haven't added anything economy based since. I don't use /reload at all. As for other plugins, Sign Shop still functions, the Magic Spell Shops still work, and MobArena money prizes also still work.

I haven't encountered this issue before. Are you able to reproduce this? If you are let me know how. Restarting your server should fix it I would guess. Did you perhaps use the /reload command?
HyperConomy only sends that message when Vault doesn't have a connection to an economy plugin. Are you sure that other plugins are still able to interface with iConomy when HyperConomy is sending that message?

Posted Sep 29, 2012Strange error: Out of the blue my shop stops working, and gives "The shop doesn't have {transaction amount}" When someone tries to sell, it sends to all ops: No economy plugin found, money can't be gained or lost. Nothing appears in the console, all my other plugins link into Iconomy7, and i updated Vault to the latest version. Any idea what's causing this? Makes my trader rank obsolete...

I can look into allowing customizable commands. I think that should be possible. /handsell is the alternate form of /hs by the way.
I'm not sure that I've written a section on multiple economies yet. For now you could just watch the youtube video in the videos section. The multiple economies should be in the SQL video.

Ah, I think that's just the old Tekkit version that I made. It's obsolete now that Tekkit updated and because the .950 version works with Tekkit. Adding the Tekkit items shouldn't be too difficult...setting prices would be however since I don't know a whole lot about Tekkit. To add items you can use the /ymladditem command while holding the item.
If you do end up adding the items I'd definitely include them with the plugin.

i'm sorry, but i've looked in my history, bookmarks, google and can't find the source from where i downloaded that version.
I just uploaded it to dropbox so you can check it. Note that i really dont remember what tekkit additions/twekings this version has, but the file is called HyperConomyTekkit-v2, so ...
https://dl.dropbox.com/u/69283283/HyperConomyTekkit-v2.jar
EDIT: please let me know if it has anything special, if not, and you're interested in supporting tekkit for your plugin, i could try to help.

Interesting, could you send me the link to that Tekkit version? If someone added all the Tekkit items I'd be glad to include them along with the main version in some form. Perhaps as tekkit_items.yml or something.
Just try the latest version .950, it works with Tekkit as far as I know.

thanks for the info!
it's odd but my config.yml does not have that entry im using the tekkit version wich i found in the technicpack forums.
I'll try to add that line manually and see if it runs this way
EDIT: manually adding that entry does not work, i assume it's due to the version im using is too old and odesnt yet suport web server (version: 0.92), i donwloaded that from a thread that told it was optimized or had tekkit items added, cant remember right now.
I'll try to use your latest 1.2.5r4 compatible version and see.
EDIT2: i tried with 0.941 and same prob
any suggestion?

Yep, it's just like dynmap. The config option to enable the web page is "use-web-page" in config.yml. Set that to true. The default port is 8765, but you can make it whatever you want. To access the web page you will use [your server ip]:[port].
I think in the next version I'll just enable it by default.

Posted Sep 28, 2012i looked throught the config files but i cant see where to setup the integrated web server. I assume it should be something similar to dynmap, my server url plus a port, but i have no idea on where to find the correct info.
Any help would be much apreciated, thanks in advance

99% of those alternative item forms are unobtainable without something like the /give command. The leaves do not appear to decay and they all seem to be called "oak leaves" by Minecraft. It almost seems like it's a bug or an unfinished feature.
I do like the idea of linking items, such that if you bought "lava" from the shop it would give you a bucket of lava and so on. Or if you sold "lava" it would sell it as if it were a bucket. I will add that to to the to do list.

Out of curiosity I took another look at BOSEconomy. It's actually not a bug. You just have to change the "fractional-digits" option in the config to 2 for it to function like Essentials econ or iConomy does. BOSEconomy appears to be a lot more versatile than other econ plugins.
