Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

- If you have a question, or find a bug, first check the FAQ. I will try to include as many helpful questions and answers as possible.

Some things will probably keep going down for quite a while. Ultimately though someone will come along and think it's a great deal to buy thousands of dirt, or another cheap item, for $0.01 each. It really depends on your server though. The larger the server the more quickly prices will reach equilibrium.
I will be working on time based price shifting soon as well. Once that's ready you could configure shops to automatically add X amount of stock every X amount of time. That would mean prices would slowly regenerate until the stock reaches a level that you set.

Posted Sep 3, 2015Hello, I have 2 questions...
1) Are name changes supported by Hyperconomy? I've had players change their names and the chest shops still belong to their old names...
2) A player was able to destroy someone else's chest shop sign using TNT, is that intended behavior?
Thanks.

That feature was removed. I'll update the wiki. It added a lot of unnecessary complexity and potential bugs. Now that you can buy and sell enchantments onto books those can simply be placed in the chests and bought instead of transferring enchantments between items.

Hey there, Sorry for the late response.
It appears the violating item(s) so far seem to be items from CrackShot, such as our blast grenades.
Do you need a screenshot of one?
Regards, galactic

Posted Aug 20, 2015According to https://github.com/RegalOwl/HyperConomy-Documentation/blob/master/Wiki/Shops/Chest%20Shops.creole I should be able to buy enchantments that should be applied directly on the item Im holding from chest shops.
That was working fine on version v0.974.57
However, we are now using Version 0.975.5 and its not behaving the same way anymore.
When Im holding a pickaxe and right clicking on an enchanted book or enchanted pickaxe, I buy the enchanted book or the enchanted pickaxe, but the item im holding does not get enchanted. I didn't find anything relevant in the config.yaml. I also checked all the Wiki pages and all the ChangeLogs of every release between those two versions... All I found relevant was:
Was this behavior changed (and the wiki needs to be updated) or is there perhaps a bug?
Thanks.

This looks like a bug, but I'll need more information in order to find it. I suspect there is some item that HyperConomy can't handle properly. Whenever this happens next could you take a look at the affected player's inventory? There should be one or more items that when in inventory cause this error. If you remove the item the error should go away. If you let me know what item causes this I can work on a fix.

Posted Aug 19, 2015Hey there,
We've been using HyperConomy for a while now but we've ran into an issue we simply can't solve. For some players, commands simply do not work. When a command is executed, for example /hs, nothing happens and no messages are sent in chat. The errors are in the pastebin link below:
http://pastebin.com/8rMET1b5
It only seems to affect certain players which become affected randomly. After trying out different versions, tinkering with the config and ultimately wiping the whole MySQL database, plugin data and reinstalling everything, it still seems to affect the same few people while it's fine for the rest. I'm stumped now and not sure what to do. Is it on our side?

Not currently. Adding items by linking a chest seems like a good idea though. I can look into that.

Posted Aug 16, 2015Is it possible to configure HyperConomy so that the players just drop items they want to sell in a chest and then those items appear in an NPC inventory at specified server shop location with a dynamic pricing system? I want an economy system which is as simple to use as possible.

Are you still on a pre 1.8 Minecraft version? It would be easier to update to the latest HyperConomy. The GUI editor helps make editing price and other settings easier. Download the full version and double click HyperConomy.jar to open the GUI. You'll need to edit a local version of your HyperConomy database and then send the changes back to the server.
You can still edit settings by hand as well, but you'll be editing CSV files in something like Excel or LibreOffice Calc. To do this export the database to CSV with /hcdata exportcsv all. Each database table is put into its own CSV file. Make the changes you want to the file and then reimport the changes to the database with /hcdata importcsv all.
If you're stuck on that old build the above command might still work. I'm not sure. Regardless, objects.yml hasn't stored the live object data for a very long time. In your build I'm guessing it's only used to create the database the first time HC is started. If the above doesn't work you'll need to directly edit your database or use commands.

Hey Regal,
I went through the objects.yml and changed quite a few prices along with adding a new category specifically for 'x' items. Restarted the server, added the category to the shop and the prices are the same as before. Static price is False on every item, I have to manually input it via command in-game. Which is quite frustrating.
On one more note, all my prices double when re-sale; How would I go about changing that price?
Using ver: #443
Cheers!

The error message makes it look like you're trying to use the Lite version. Are you sure you downloaded the full version? Should be around a 5 MB jar.
The only difference between the Lite and full version is that I removed the SQLite and MySQL libraries from the jar which cuts down on the size a lot but also prevents the GUI from working in the Lite version.

Try launching it with a command prompt. Open a command prompt and navigate to the folder with HyperConomy.jar and run it with java -jar HyperConomy.jar. That should print out any error messages that are occurring. Try it also with a fresh HyperConomy folder as a test. I'd be surprised if it breaks specifically on Windows server 2012 OS.

That command was changed a long time ago. Use /hcs static all:copy or /hcs static all:true to make everything use static pricing.
