Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

New Features, Bugs, Problems, etc.
- If you have a question, or find a bug, first check the FAQ. I will try to include as many helpful questions and answers as possible.
- If the FAQ doesn't help, don't hesitate to post your question or make a ticket.
- If you do find a bug, please include which version of HyperConomy you're using, the full error message or stack trace (if there is one), the version and type of Minecraft server you're running, and an explanation of how to reproduce the bug or what causes the bug.

The command you're looking for is either /hs or /heldsell. "/sell hand" is actually trying to sell a "hand" which doesn't exist in your database.
I may have broken HyperMerchant compatibility in the latest dev build. If you go back one or two builds it should work again. I'll let shmancelot know if I did.

What server software are you using? Is it the latest Spigot? I'm not currently able to reproduce this. If you find out what triggers the bug let me know. It might also help to have the ItemStack data for a banner that causes this. You can display the data by holding the banner and typing "/ii pd"

Posted Jan 8, 2015Running latest Spigot build and your latest dev build of HyperConomy, also running HyperMerchant; despite upgrading, players can't right click to trade anymore in the marketplace, they also can't "/sell hand" as all items give a "Sorry, that item or enchantment is not in the database." error, even for op users. With that said, op users can trade. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Hamual

Posted Jan 8, 2015We have a strange bug, for most people who have a banner with patterns added to it in their inventory, HyperConomy becomes completely unresponsive. No message at all when trying to use commands. It goes away the instant the banner is thrown away. This bug is not always active and not for all people but it's there and it's a big problem.
I have tested it on multiple versions including the latest dev version, all have the same problem. And console never gives any error messages that could be useful, unfortunately.

There shouldn't be any duplicates at all. I'll see if I can find a plugin conflict when I get some time. At least you can't pick them up now. :)
The signs are a vanilla bug.

Hey i didn't want to post the full plugin list here but i send you a PM
I updated Stables and PlayerHeads, and occasionally ill see 2 floats, but they turn into 1 after an update, no drops anymore :) (should have thought about updating some other plugins too earlier sorry xd)
But there is still something i forgot, havent seen it in the comments yet. Signs facing East and West are normal and have bright text, signs facing North or South are slightly darker and the text is not as vibrant and a bit hard to read.

No matter what I do I can't seem to reproduce this issue. I tried both in and out of a WorldGuard region and it works fine. It may be a plugin conflict. What other plugins are you running?

The error is gone with that build #489.
I shut down with no item displays, replaced the jars, booted the server. I looked at a block #1 , did /makedisplay catdisk, /removedisplay catdisk. Looked at a different block #2 and did /makedisplay dirt, then block #3 /makedisplay grass, block #4 /makedisplay cobblestone.
rebooted, the 3 displays had 2 items floating each, walked pasted them and block #2 dropt 3 dirt entities and the display was gone. block #3 and #4 did not drop entities or remove display.
Waited for an update, #2 display reappeared as 1 floating, and #3 and #4 had 1 float each. Waited again, and there were no duplicated displays.
Logged off, waited a few minutes, logged in, and #2 had 1 float, #3 and #4 had 2 floats each
The displays are in a worldguard region, not in a HC shop region, didn't test outside one. And i did not reimport the csvs like last time.

Thanks for the report. Please try dev build #489. (Use the dev build link above.) It should hopefully fix the pastebin error.
I'm guessing the item display duplication will not be fixed, however. Let me know if it is, though. Could you give me the exact steps you're using to create a display that duplicates? Do they all duplicate or only certain ones?
All of the names should overlap with the real Minecraft names. Maybe Minecraft changed some disk names. I'll check on that one. Let me know if you find any other names which aren't mapped properly. Almost all HyperConomy items have aliases so that you can refer to them with multiple names. So /mkd catdisk would work just like /mkd cat_disk
The easiest way to view all items is to download the GUI version and double click on HyperConomy.jar. Click on the default economy and then edit. The left side will list all items. On the right you can edit the aliases as well. It would be an easy way to update the names of items or add additional aliases.
The 1.8 items are all in HyperConomy. Whenever there is an update you can add any new items with /hcdata importmissing

Posted Jan 8, 2015Hey RegalOwl
I updated from 0.974.57 to 0.975.2 using the latest spigot1.8 (buildtools 22). I get this error in the console ( http://pastebin.com/ENn9RB8j ), and some displays have multiple items and will drop a few up to a stack of that item after a reboot. Do you know how i need to fix this?
EDIT: Sorry, didn't see the troubleshoot tab :P I exported all, let HyperConomy make a new folder and db, then imported everything except item_displays.csv And the error is gone, now i just have to make new displays.
EDIT EDIT: I added 2 item displays and the error is back, and the displays drop some items again, but smaller:( http://pastebin.com/06agjzFs ) When i remove them with /removedisplay, the error disappears too.
-----Also I can /makedisplay disk_cat but disk_cat does not seem to work on a sign. Could you provide a name list, some items (like the disks) use different names than minecraft shows, i had to search a long time until i found that it is disk_cat instead of record_cat :P When will 1.8 items be added?
Greetings Dax

Ok, /hcgive is added in the latest dev build. I'll add documentation later. To pay a player it's /hcgive [name] money [amount]. Or for short /hcg [name] m [amount]. Let me know if there are any problems.

Ah, I see. That's actually part of HyperMerchant if you're using the shop GUI. I think you can change the messages in the YML files.
I'll work on adding /hcgive. I see how it could be useful for buycraft.

Thanks. :) You can change almost all of the messages in the HyperConomy/Languages folder. For now just edit the enUS.hl file. There are a lot of messages so a full translation is probably quite a bit of effort. If you do make a full translation I'll include it with the plugin.
What is the "Last page" message displayed for? /topitems?
