Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

Anyone with the hyperconomy.admin permission can select any shop. When you walk into any shop with that permission it will be selected. Once selected just use /ms delete to delete the shop.
The /lockshop command isn't related to shops. It basically locks down the plugin for all players except admins so that admins can work on the settings without players using the plugin. If you want to disable a player shop an easy way is to make all the objects untradeable with "/ms status all none"

The /sellall issue should be fixed in the latest dev buld. I've also added bats to categories. The idea of manipulating settings by category is a good one. I'll add that to the todo list.

Posted May 6, 2014Commands on help page on how to create server shop are not working. I get unknown command message. They're changed? And one more thing, HyperConomy hooked into Essentials Economy but currency sign is still $ even if I changed mine in Essentials config to Ð
EDIT: I've found other commands: /ms set1, /ms set2 But i get an error saying that shop can't be larger than 1000 blocks. Is there any way to change it?

Posted May 5, 2014Amazing plugin. I just installed the new version. I noticed that bat eggs don't get added to the mobegg category. I was wondering if it would be possible to edit the stock or other setting of categories, either by hcset or scalebypercent? This would be alot easier than doing each item manually. Could ceiling and floor also be modified for all items or category as well? When a item goes under the median stock prices rise dramatically. On a small server this can happen very easily.

You need to upgrade to a later version of Spigot/Craftbukkit. Your version doesn't support UUID's. Upgrade to a 1.7.9 build for the recent HC dev build. Bukkit wouldn't allow me to put 1.7.9 as the version so I've included it in the title for now.

Nope, just money for now. You can sort of store exp in a bank by making a player shop that's owned by a bank and then putting exp in it.

I tried it with that build and it works fine for me. It could be something specific to your database. If you send me a copy of the database I could probably figure out what's going on.

Posted May 4, 2014Having an issue that I believe is HC related.
Since I updated to 974.54, I noticed that my server takes an unusually long time to boot up (upwards of 10 minutes or so). I deleted HC and viola - server boots up just fine. Could be a coincidence seeing as how there are no error messages, but I tested it 3 times and with HC it loads painfully slow and without HC it boots normally.
I'm running Spigot #1427.

Yep, the new version should be able to handle any item. You'll have to add special items like enchanted ones, however. To add a new item just hold it and use /additem [name of item you want to use] [value]. This will add the item to your current economy. You'll need to restart HyperConomy for shops to accept it. (/hc disable, /hc enable)

This issue should be fixed in the latest build. A dev release should be available shortly as well.

Ah, I see. I'll work on a fix for this. As a temporary workaround you could just rename your HyperConomy folder and let the new version regenerate a new one. In the new HyperConomy folder reconfigure config.yml to use MySQL and then delete all of the other files, replacing them with your old files. I think it should then perform the update.

Posted May 1, 2014Ok my problem seems to be it migrates into the sqlite database because it resets the config then does the import (deleting redundant yml) before i have chance to add mysql config params.
maybe just rename the yml's to *.imported or something?

The latest dev builds should migrate all data cleanly to the new version. The only exception is config.yml, which will be wiped and recreated. I would recommend making a backup first though just in case.
An IRC channel might be nice. I can look into that when I get a chance.
