Introduction
HyperConomy is the all in one economy and shop plugin. It can be a simple chest or sign shop plugin, a Vault compatible economy plugin, a region based shop plugin with many configurable options, or even a complex system of economically competing towns and kingdoms. Any vanilla Minecraft item can be traded in HyperConomy and virtually any custom item can be added as well. Prices can be configured to change dynamically or they can be set as desired. To quickly edit prices and settings you can double click on HyperConomy.jar to access the GUI editor. HyperConomy has many features including things such as item price linking and item displays. Read below or check out the wiki for more information.

Versions and Development Builds
- Recommended builds are marked with [RB] and are generally thought to be stable and bug free.
- Builds marked as [Beta] are as bug free as possible, but often have large code changes which may result in the appearance of new bugs.
- Builds marked as [Dev] are development builds that I've decided to upload to BukkitDev. I may upload dev builds on occasion to provide easy access because Bukkit staff does not allow linking to development builds.
- Development builds may contain bugs as I work on releasing a new [Beta] build. They may also contain fixes for bugs found in [Beta] builds. Use these builds if you're looking for a bug fix, or would like to try out a new feature I've just added. Also, feel free to search for bugs in the development builds. Any help with testing is greatly appreciated!
- Development builds of this project can be acquired at the provided continuous integration server. These builds have not been approved by the BukkitDev staff. Use them at your own risk.
- The latest development builds can be found here.

New Features, Bugs, Problems, etc.
- If you have a question, or find a bug, first check the FAQ. I will try to include as many helpful questions and answers as possible.

- If you do find a bug, please include which version of HyperConomy you're using, the full error message or stack trace (if there is one), the version and type of Minecraft server you're running, and an explanation of how to reproduce the bug or what causes the bug.

The latest dev build now can hook Vault. Just enable "hook-internal-economy-into-vault" in the config.

Hey, I've actually just added playershops to the dev builds. If you run the latest dev build players should be able to make their own region based shops using the /manageshop command. I've added the command to the commands page. I still need to test it some more to find all the bugs and improve the documentation before an official release, but so far it seems to be working. Let me know if you decide to try it.
As far as chest shops players can use a custom price for all items in the chest shop by specifying it on line one of the chest shop. You could make one like this:
line 1 = "$70.50"
line 2 = "[sell]"
line 3 = ""
line 4 = ""
(This chest will only sell items for $70.50 per item).

Hey Regal, I am having trouble with giving players the opportunity to sell and trade their own items. How can I let them create chest shops and let them base their own prices on items? I have given them the "- hyperconomy.chestshop" permission but it looks like they can only sell items for the price set in the config.
My players are very anticipated to make their own shops. Please respond asap :)

Composite items are in the latest dev build if you'd like to try it out. There were only a few items that don't work with it such as cakes (due to buckets) and all smelted items such as ingots.

So I looked into it a bit more and it's apparently just a bug in Java 8. I'd recommend updating your Java. I don't think there is anything I can do to fix it in HyperConomy.

Here is the latest dev build: https://buildhive.cloudbees.com/job/RegalOwl/job/HyperConomy/264/regalowl$hyperconomy/artifact/regalowl/hyperconomy/0.974-SNAPSHOT/hyperconomy-0.974-SNAPSHOT.jar It's possible that it will actually fix your issue. Let me know.

I can look into Java 8 support. The MySQL connection is probably the only issue. I'll see if I can get it working and I'll let you know.
I still have to support Java 6 since many people still use that as well.

What type of VPS are you using? If you have console access you could type "java -version" to see what version of Java you have.
Those options will only appear in config.yml if you update to the latest development build.

It appears that this error may be related to Java 8 for which I've not added support yet. If you downgrade to Java 7 it should work.
EDIT: You could also try the latest dev build. You will need to disable the new player shop option and use-composite-items in the config.yml file for it to behave as you would normally expect. I'll be working on the documentation for the new features soon.

I have some issues with the display's. For some reason the spawn multiple times, and as soon as that happens. People can pick them up. I tried adding some flags in worldguard, but that didn't work.
I'm using your latest version for 1.6.4.

Bring on the changes! My mind is racing with cool features to extend HyperMerchant once we have player shops. Traveling player merchants (option:only if riding or leading a donkey with chest.) Shops that only operate when player is "working" or can hire npc "employee" for % of sales. Future looks cool!
